One of five games I had for the Gameboy. I never finished it, but had a lot of fun with it! Lol.

Yes! Al legit great platformer of its era. My friend had it and we would eventually play it like we played Super Mario Land: One would play through the whole game and than the other, rinse and repeat. Easier times!

My grandpa was sick a lot so I spent a lot of time waiting for him in the emergency room. I played this to pass the time!

Shout out to Tiny Toons Cartoon Workshop for the NES (of all places).

Rented it and a NES from Blockbuster for my birthday when I was a kid. Blew my mind that I could make my own short cartoon pixel animations to show my family on the tv. (This was before I had experienced stuff like Mario Paint.)

This was the game I chose when I got my Gameboy. I definitely beat it, can’t remember a ton about it, but it was a solid game. The NES game was top notch too.

Never played the NES game. I came close to beating it but never could get past the boss to the final level.

Find a rom, and check it out. It’s a banger.

I do remember the boss being a big issue, it took me a few days.

I’ve just got the old classic Raspberry Pi 3b. My 4 year old just about loses his mind playing the old games like Sonic, etc.

Yes, I loved it! I think I beat it once or twice. The races were especially hard. We would get a pen and use it to quickly alternate between a and b. That seemed to be the best technique. I’ve also installed the game on my Steam Deck, but I don’t want to abuse it like that.

God, and the boss fight with the werewolf was super hard.

Funny story, my older brother made me believe that he had an exploit to see the game’s ending. He would press all buttons and then it would show. But every time I tried it it just made the game reboot and show the intro.

Thing is, that’s what he did as well. I have no idea how I didn’t see that every time he did the “cheat” it would show the same thing as when I tried it. Especially because I knew both the intro and the end. And he confirmed this the other day as well. Guess I was just a very stupid kid.

Trouble at Wackyland on the NES was one of my big childhood games.

It was also brutal. Never came close to beating it as a kid.
