  • At first, they did not regroup, they just started attacking this guy.

Eventually, they did get their shit together and they HAVE REACHED enough signatures.

So now that they are winning, why does PS matter at all anymore? Why has this annoyance turned into an online crusade that I have to constantly hear about? I do not give a shit about these gripes with this guy, and considering that he was ultimately irrelevant to SKG, I’m not sure why they care so much either

  • Yeah Apple really dropped the ball in AI. I heard an interesting take that it’s because Apple collected way less used info o er time compared to like Google (which has all the writings of man both pre and post internet, every video ever uploaded, the habits of every human user, and most of the messaging/calendars/contacts for a significant portion of the planet) va Apple who has like, App Store usage for iPhone users, photo libraries since 2009-ish, that kinda thing.

It just wasn’t enough to paint a holistic picture to train a useful model on, and this is why Apple Intelligence was a bigger flop than the Vision Pro.

  • I think you got wooshed here

The guy in the picture is PirateSoftware, accused of sabotaging the Stop Killing Games initiative in the EU.

This post is part of a coordinated harassment campaign by big angy gamers because bad nerd man say companies won’t listen to their little lib demands to the EU

So instead of regrouping their efforts (which, I might add, they did, and they got their day in parliament) they (started off by) basically trashing this dude until he lost a large portion of his community. Because like they didn’t like how he defended his position. About video games. And now the fucking internet won’t shut up about it even though they got their way again through toxic bullying. And it annoys me. So I shitpost about it wherever I can because I hope it annoys them too.

  • Ask any apple fanboy/fanatic and they will tell you, and they will be correct: Apple rarely leads the charge. They wait and they bide their time, and they watch how a technology is applied and how it works well and how it fails, and then they engineer a solution that they believe to be a smoother user experience to everyone else, and only then do they drop a new tech.

Budget phone makers are trying to stand out and captivate a much smaller market segment, so they have to go big or go home, or else no one will care.

The big guys are so big that they can actually use the market itself as market research, and the big guys are so big they can hold out until they know they have a stable, proven solution.

  • The problems are capable of being fixed. The people of Gotham take to crime to survive because they have been squeezed by the ruling class and it’s the only way to protect what remains of their material conditions.

The Waynes and people like them, the owning class, prop up a system of inequality that forces these conditions to endure.

Bruce Wayne, the richest and most powerful of all, is hurt back (his parents killed) and instead of solving the systemic issues, he doles out individualized corporal punishment as a vigilante.

It’s the ultimate extension of “It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends on his not understanding it.”: Rich people will never acknowledge that the very system that provides them power is the ultimate root of all the issues they intend to solve via violence. Batman is himself the ultimate villain of the story.
