We got totally boned when our renewal notice went out just before a three day weekend. PayPal and our bank sided with TeamViewer. Apparently, someone tried to sue over this shady practice in California and the court also sided with TeamViewer. IMO, all the proprietary remote access software (Teamviewer, Ultraviewer, Anydesk, Etc) companies are profiting from and therefore complicit in the use of their software to scam people.

You’re going to want to make sure the noise is indeed coming from the graphics card. CPU will also fluctuate in load / frequency and most fans’ speed logic is bound to that.

I’ve found that, a lot of the time, this repeated “revving” is the result of something crossing a threshold in the fan curve. Adjusting the fan curve can help avoid that crossing that “cusp” back and forth.
