i meant what i said, unfortunately lol. it’s in the “hypothetical” stages but isn’t science fiction either. every major AI company has stated it is their goal.

AI is here to stay as they’ve already moved on to calling what is actual AI AGI (artificial general intelligence). so look out for AGI in the future because it’s not too far off.

the bad news: there is no inherent meaning. the good news: this means you get to create your own. each of us do! the harsh reality is we exist against our will. nobody chose to be here and the “purpose” appears purposeless. if you ask me, there is no such thing as destiny and there is no afterlife for a soul to ascend to, so the existence you are experiencing here on Earth is profoundly unique and should be treated as your one and only. you might spend your entire life searching for a grand meaning, but the saerch is part of the discovery, because along the way you are progressing as a person, and aging and maturing through life, so you’re not remaining stagnant and unchanging. it’s okay if you never truly “know” who you are or where you’re going–just keep doing it. you’ll end up somewhere, you’ll become someone.

it is becoming more and more obvious to those who couldn’t see before that you cannot vote fascism out of power. we are rapidly approaching a countrywide breaking point. i don’t know from which side or what angle, but there is a lot of anger and only one group (anyone Left of Republicans) has the moral high ground. we are not going to demonstrate or talk our way out of the pockets of the oligarchy. if not now, when? when will it be time?

yes, but i am also becoming more tolerant of personal quirks as i’ve learned of my autism and how it impacts my socializing. i worry nobody likes me and tend to avoid conversation. i want friends. i have some, but more would be nice. something genuine and deep but equally as stupid and silly and shallow.

it isn’t “just a term” lol people legitimately think it is a psychological disorder. i’m not sure if you’re aware. using it as some kind of colloquial descriptor of behavior is also misusing the word “syndrome” and idk… we should probably avoid muddying language used for psychological diseases especially when there’s a ton of misinformation about mental health as there is.

stockholm syndrome is a fake condition rooted in misogyny, has literally no diagnostic criteria, and is not a term used by psychologists or psychiatrists. the dude inspired a false narrative. as a criminal, that’s pretty fitting.
