It’s such a hassle, I needed to goto the county I grew up in and change my insurance or some shit to the county I was going to school in, I gave up once that barrier was erected, this was after waiting 3 hours at the behavioural center. I went after dropping out, ended up going to cc, getting reinstated and graduating while mostly unmedicated. (Used my sister’s adderal on days I really needed to get shit done, she got evaluated through her school which had a proper mental healthcare program)

19·7 days agoIt started out enshittified, ai automod will take down your posts/comments for anything inappropriate like saying shit or fuck. No what the fucks on digg. They may have fixed it temporarily since ppl were complaining.
Idk, the moment they swapped the shovel and tombstone for basic triangle upvote/downvotes I knew it was going to be corporate slop for the general public.
You’ve never seen the lists then, this is pretty much how they tend to look

41·14 days agoI dont see the issue, I would wait for my cousins to visist to get me past hard points in games as a kid, this wouldve let kid me who was new to using a conttoller finish games that I never touched again and never will.
Watching other ppl play a game start to finish livestreaming or on youtube is somehow social acceptable but this is bad.

51·19 days agoGreat episode, its dubbed now, up to 150 with 150-200 finished. Gintama suprisingly works well with a dub, imo the sub didnt get good til around episode 80 for me while the dub gets good earlier by around episode 30, with some decent episodes before it. The localization helps and gintama is a better show when you dont have to look at the screen 24/7 imo, very dialouge heavy, almost feels like watching a podcast. 100-150 were all really solid for dubs, felt like theybhit their stride.

1·20 days agoHe was working on the ship and continued to work on ships after btw, not immigrating through the ship, think he was already a us citizen by that point, man died like a year ago so I can’t really ask him for clarity.

1·20 days agoMaybe im not looking hard enough but youd think the country that trained the operation and has the operation (blue star) named after their flag would pop up more in the article.
Sidenote my grandpa left india shortly after that time working on a ship and was lost at sea for a bit. He was saved by an isdf vessel and they were apparently nice and bought him a first class ticket on the plane to his destination in america. Just a nice reminder that not all people anywhere are bad, just like america might seem like a hellscape but the average person here isn’t the vocal maga person you see online, they just clock in. We are sikh tho not muslim so maybe that would’ve had a different result.

4·20 days agoYou know what, I was gonna agree because last time I was googling some sikh history as a sikh it seemed to be driding the indian governement but looking at the articles now it has correct casualty estimates. I swear last time I looked it was framed like the government estimate for casualties at 83 killed 900 injured was accurate, now it frames it like how every news article not on wikipedia did with 10k deaths being the likely estimate.
I see no mention of israel tho, which is odd since operation blue star was an israeli trained operation, had the isreali flag as the symbol and name lol. I can’t find the older article from india celebrating the anniversary of them working together, training soldiers to massacre civilians, but its out there somewhere, times india 1990s or 2000s.

1·28 days agoOn screen keyboard extension works well for setting different layouts and making your own if you want. Kde is based around being able to right click? Gnome works well with left clicks (standard touch input) alone.

1·28 days agoGnome, extensions make it your way, on touchscreen I like arcmenu with a grid layout, and my dash on the left, always visible and large, easy to tap. I did not like kde with touchscreen, gnome is pretty much setup for it as is and you don’t need extensions, just makes It nicer.
Gnome control center is great, standard for touch devices, so you’re already used to it. Everythings a bit big and minimal while kde always has more going on on the page and is ideal for mouse use imo.
You can use blender, tons of free 3d models for anything
