A New Jersey man has been sentenced to a year-and-a-half in federal prison for trying to smuggle people from Mexico across the U.S.-Canada border into North Dakota.
Also, Amurica is not nearly all it’s cracked up to be. You actually would have more freedoms living in Canada than you would in the US. Canada also has its issues with immigration but they’re not nearly as intolerant as the states. N.B. I am a dual citizen of Canada and the United States. I was born in the US and am 50% Canadian.
That’s what I thought. I’m trying to wrap my head around why someone who had already illegally entered Canada would then try to get into the the US. The only answer that seems to make any sense is if they were trying to link up with family already in the States.
