This may be optimistic but China has no route to take Taiwan. Any attempt would destroy their already shakey population due to one child policy. On top of that it would be the largest, longest distance and costly naval invasion attempt. I can go on and on at this point. Their energy would be better spent trying to be the USA of Asia.
