Use lawnchair instead of the default launcher and change the number of rows in settings

Nice, but a touch busy. For the zen-masochist approach I’ve gone to Niagara launcher.
How?
Any number of alternative launchers. I use Nova, and I can remove the search bar, move it, change it to a different provider ( DDG), and search apps and messages and stuff at the same time.
