It happened to me recently at work. I don’t even find her physically attractive, and her personality is not what I’m into at all. But I was still somehow attracted to her - and she also was to me. She didn’t like me, and I certainly am not the kind of man she goes for. It’s like we had a strong connection in one area beneath the subconscious or something, but every other area was completely incompatible. Aggressively so.
Anyone else have anything similar?
There are so many contributing factors to attraction of any kind.
Romantic partners are literally sniffing out each other’s immune systems. For all you know, the two of you could have had the world’s most compatible immune system, capable of producing offspring invincible to all know diseases, despite disliking each other. Nature is weird
When I was in the Marines we had an assignment where I was in a small group of men and there was one woman with us. She was a great Marine but probably one of the most manly and dogged women I have ever met. She could probably put me through a brick wall easily. Hopefully you get the type I’m referring too.
Anyways nobody was into her at first but after a few weeks a couple of the guys started getting into fights over who was going to “get with her first”.
I think it’s situational but if you’re “hungry enough” you start making exceptions to what you previously said no too.
