I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how some games really respect the player’s time, while others feel grindy for no real reason.

Personally, I enjoy games that:

Have meaningful progression

Don’t force daily chores

Reward skill or smart play instead of endless repetition

Lately I’ve been revisiting a few older titles and indie games, and honestly some of them feel way more respectful than many modern releases.

I’m curious:

What games do you feel respect your time the most?

Any hidden gems you’d recommend?
