I was talking about ipv4 addresses. There is no interner service provider that I’m aware of that gives non-business customers static ipv4 addresses. Dynamic ipv4 addresses are very much a universal thing and everyone who has tried hosting something at home will have noticed that.

yeah, my IP changed once in 5 years or so.
It’s not that expensive to buy a premium static IP from ISPs. It’s like 10% on top of a usual monthly rate, so not a terribly expensive one.
