Sounds like it doesn’t matter how much other employees are burdened, just the business overall. That said, yes, the ruling has lots of potential for abuse.
It’s hard to say from that language if it will strengthen something like an EMT not saving a trans patient because of their religious beliefs or something. That’s kind of my biggest worry, that people will be using religion as a basis for discrimination in critical situations.
