Got a pair of AirPods Pro 2 this week and Spatial Audio is really weird for me.

Is it something you use all the time or just with some things?

For me, it’s kinda weird/frustrating when watching something and my phone isn’t directly in front of me, or i get up and the sound changes direction.

I love spatial audio itself, but I do turn off the head tracking. Leaving spatial audio on but turning tracking off gives the pseudo “surround sound” experience without the sound changing direction on you.

I turn it off. Cause like you said it’s annoying when you move your head. I guess it would be nice with an Apple TV. But I don’t like wearing headphones when watching tv, I have a sound system for that.

Off for me. Got real annoyed when it would stay on for other apps - I had to go back in and turn it off again for like Netflix and Safari.

I think it’s silly and weird. Why wouldn’t I want my sound to move with me?

I like it when listening to things mastered for Dolby Atmos (basically just certain things in Apple Music/TV), but don’t use the artificial version (Spacialize Stereo) and I always keep head tracking off/fixed.
