SEATTLE IS READY TO VOTE SOCIALIST!

END CAPITALISM BEFORE IT ENDS US!

Our campaign volunteers have been on the ground almost every day talking to our neighbors about the issues they face under our current system. It’s clear that people are tired of the two party system that offers no solutions to the problems we face every day. Housing, wages, healthcare, and education are our priorities, not endless war!

The Vote Socialist 2024 campaign is working to address and meet the needs of working class people who have been abandoned by capitalism. The people of Seattle deserve better, and we know that together, we can build a better world that puts people first.

Abandon the two party system and commit to liberation!

SAVE THE DATE: Claudia de la Cruz and the Vote Socialist campaign will be visiting Seattle, Thursday, October 10! Stay tuned for more updates!

This is full on misinformation. Most likely a bot or a shill

Not voting for Harris or withholding your vote, given the razor thin margins in this election, benefits Trump

A third party candidate has zero chance of anything in this election. Voting for them is wasting your vote.

If you cannot get what you want, at least vote to protect what you have. Like abortion rights, medicare, public education. All these are in danger if Trump wins

The far-right bots and Russian shills are following a bolster left candidates, like Jill Stein, because the voters most likely to vote for them are most likely to vote for Harris. Therefore more chances for Trump

I don’t love Harris, but Trump in the White House again is a nightmare I don’t need to relive

Remember Roe vs Wade Remember Jan 6th Remember the threats Remember the boot licking towards Putin, Kim, Xi Remember the alienation of our European allies Remember the highest level of unemployment Remember the high level of inflation Remember the hate speech towards women Remember the crazy!

This exactly. We need to pass ranked choice voting before any third party candidtaes (from either side of the political spectrum) will ever have a chance. Until then, our top priority is keeping the fascist extremists from seizing control, or we may lose our “right” to vote entirely.

Will never happen in the US, this is the eternal carrot held in front of you that you’ll never reach.

Until then, our top priority is keeping the fascist extremists from seizing control, or we may lose our “right” to vote entirely.

Sounds like you don’t have the right to vote now then, if there’s only one option, so you should organize outside the electoral system.

" We need to pass ranked choice voting before any third party candidtaes"

Well, then you better get on that.

“Until then, our top priority is keeping the fascist extremists from seizing control”

So you have no intention to pass ranked choice voting then? It seems like you just don’t want other people to vote for who they want.

“…or we may lose our “right” to vote entirely.”

It sounds like if I help you, you may also take away my right to vote for who I want regardless.

In the current context, voting 3p is a grave tactical and strategic error.

The table is skewed towards the fascists. If they win, our elections will start to look a lot more like Russian “elections”. By which I mean: the outcome will be known ahead of time, and you and I won’t like it.

    Order of operations:

    • beat back the fascists
    • reform our electoral system and get RCV/approval/some other better form of electoral process codified
    • then we can vote socialists and have it actually make a difference, and socialists will have an actual chance to win.

We already beat back the fascists, back in 2020 and 2012 and so on. When do you expect we’ll be able to check that one off?

We elected Biden and even had a Democrat majority in both the Senate and House until 2022. Do you mind refreshing me on what they did to implement ranked choice voting?

RCV is being banned by states quicker than it’s being adopted (and many of its opponents are Democrats) even though it wins by huge margins when people are allowed to vote for it. I’m skeptical of any argument against voting for parties with our best interests in minds until it’s implemented. I’ve been hearing the rhetoric that “this election is critical and if you vote third party, you’re throwing your vote away” since Gore vs Bush, and I don’t think it was new then, either. Lately it’s morphed into “a vote for a third party is a vote for Trump,” which isn’t even remotely how it works.

If Democrats aren’t competently opposing the fascists, why should we keep supporting them?

      beat back the fascists

They will remain as long as Capitalism remains.

reform our electoral system and get RCV/approval/some other better form of electoral process codified

Impossible in the current US Electoral System, neither party wants it.

then we can vote socialists and have it actually make a difference, and socialists will have an actual chance to win

This will never happen, given that the prior 2 options will never happen. Therefore, Revolution is the only way, not voting then going to brunch every 4 years.
