That’s the kind of stupid meme that make people lie to their therapists. It’s already, by far, the number one reason preventing people from actually fixing their problems in therapy.

I get it, there are systemic issues in everything. But what about the people who get wrongly put away and can’t afford to miss work and life?

But what about the system being so fucked up that getting much needed help is only for the rich?

My therapist suddenly increased the price to about 2 times. That happened a few weeks after knowing how much I earn and can afford. When I asked her why, She said “It’s not fair that the price for you equals to someone who has no jobs”!

Is it equitable that she misuse the information she gathers?! Why it looks equitable that I should pay more just because I can?

My therapist thought my significant other was a socio path, and I was like “you took everything I was saying at face value?” Part of being a good listener is letting someone rant without necessarily believing everything they say as rock solid gospel.
