Bathrooms in other countries actually don’t have this issue and I don’t know why people in the US have accepted this norm of terrible stalls that don’t give real privacy. There are stalls in other countries that aren’t even particularly nice that still have much more coverage so someone couldn’t look over/under or through the holes in the door. Demand better bathrooms, America.
One of the best things about traveling to other countries is the bathrooms. I don’t accept the our current stalls as the norm, but I don’t know who to demand the change from. If it’s the government, they can’t even get big things done, so I don’t see how they’d make any progress on this. If it’s changing the culture, that’s a big jobs, and it’s asking companies to spend more money on something that won’t ultimately make them any money.
