They transitioned to trying to be a “serious” platform the moment they removed the fun gaming related loading stuff.
Dude they see the light, the oil industry isn’t going to be a crutch the Saudi’s can use forever, and they know. What with the mega spending sprees for property abroad and such, it’s the usual “fuck the people, how can I escape with my cash?”
Way too much logic with this approach for a game publisher/company to follow. Gotta milk every IP for all its worth, seperatley, to get the biggest cash cow’s out of the nothing burgers served.

Ironically that probably ousts out their minimal value harder. Not a good look forcing your “underlings” if productivity was good prior, and subsequently falls flat.
