All businesses are protected by the government from uppity customers. Employees are expected to work 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. 6 days a week for few benefits with almost no workers rights…

I go from Three musketeer to wizard of the Court in about 1 month. Generally I just prefer not to cut my hair, but it will reach full length in about 1 year and then just stop growing any longer.
These guys seem like they also chose this hairstyle because it’s just less work and you spend less time being uncomfortable.

I think you might underestimate how easy it is to grow your hair out and stop shaving and instantly become a Jesus look-alike. No effort needed.

An app has been shut down on the unsubstantiated claims that it was a tool of foreign influence but on the apparent reasoning that it was facilitating conversations that western social media is hostile to such as the Israeli extermination of Palestinians.
Palestine and Gaza were specifically cited by congresspeople as an inspiration and justification for the ban. It is plainly censorship. That’s not really debatable.
Whether or not you believe that the censorship was reasonable or if there is sufficient evidence of subversive foreign influence using the platform is possibly debatable, but the fact that it is censorship is not.
Meanwhile there is tons of evidence that IDF soldiers are raping and sexually abusing prisoners. I’m sure Israel will get right on that…

Kind of ironic that a nation with forced conscription doesn’t end up having any civilians over the age of 18 because it turns them all into combatants.
I think that’s actually part of the Gambit. By smearing everybody in shit they more or less compel everyone to have to defend the state to protect themselves from the consequences of things they did when they were young and easily manipulated into becoming monsters.
It doesn’t mean they’re not monsters, it just means that a lot of innocent children got turned into monsters who are no longer innocent or children.
There is no rank higher than your humanity and you have an obligation to submit to it. These soldiers should have known before they turned 18 not to kill children and that bulldozers attacking houses is wrong. They should have known better and possibly many of them did. I hope every polite nation arrests these people and sends them to the Hague.

It’s far more well resourced, focused, managed, and targeted. A state sponsored gang is always going to be much scarier than one that emerges on its own funded only by the revenue of its actions.
They want to punish him harder than the law would allow so they’re charging him with something he clearly didn’t do? Am I understanding that correctly?

That’s true but the way that a federal jury works is very different.
It allows them to choose people from outside of the area in which the crime occurred.
Making it a federal trial jury instead of a state trial jury allows them to charge this single murder against an individual perpetrated by another individual who made no public statement with a much more severe crime than the state laws that he broke would normally allow.
It’s also important to note that making it a federal trial makes it less public as there will be no cameras allowed. They don’t want him tried in the state of New York because that could legally be televised which is a bad look when you’ve already got judicial homicide lined up and the trial is purely performative.
Being that they can choose people from all over and that the process of jury selection is even more opaque at the federal level they can make sure there won’t be any nullification issues.
The way they are treating Luigi whether or not he’s guilty indicates that it’s not relevant whether or not he’s guilty. They legitimately don’t care, this is about sending a message that the poors don’t get to fight back.
They charged him with terrorism so a regular jury won’t get to make that decision. It will be a federal grand jury of selected stooges, and maybe even a secret court.
And it gets worse as they get older.
I have friends and relatives that used to be people. They used to have thoughts and feelings. They had convictions and reasons for those convictions.
Now, I have conversations with some of these people I’ve known for 20 and 30 years and they seem exasperated at the idea of even trying to think about something.
It’s not just complex topics, either. You can ask him what they saw on a recent trip, what they are reading, or how they feel about some show and they look at you like the hospital intake lady from Idiocracy.
