AD Free YouTube is great tbh, it is generally a good experience no matter what device you use then throw in the claim it supports the content creators more seems like win win

Honestly I bought YouTube premium through a VPN to turkey for that price for the entire year. Seems worth it.
I used IRC daily religiously for 15 years, but around 2011 I just stopped and never got back into using it. The client of choice was Xchat.
I don’t think the size difference works in the favour of lmg.
If gamers nexus puts out pretty much industry leading day one reviews out on every launch with 5-6 people and LMG with labs and 100+ employees can’t then there’s something wrong.
GN has a point LMG shits out videos without QC and it’s starting to bite them of late. The water block review is the perfect example of just being stupid. Why not just test the item with the right product and judge it for what it is as opposed to turning it into a joke review where no matter what the product is going to look bad.
The short circuit thing with the mouse is also a bit ridiculous.
But the charts are the main thing, I’ve noticed it myself over the years that lmg charts made no sense relative to gamers nexus or HUb or even jayz 2 cents which meant something was wrong with the testing.
Yeah Steve steve and Wendell would be an amazing trio, Gordon is also really good but he can be a bit rage heavy for me
Apple Pay every day, and before that Google Pay. I haven’t really used cash in years.
There’s a very rare exception for like one store I visit that requires cash with an ATM next-door so I just pay by cash then but otherwise I’m using my phone/watch for all payments.
I got mine on release day and I’m currently at 93% it does seem a bit much.
On the whole a solid episode and the Scott appearance was very surprising and well done.
However why the hell is Christine the only survivor on the cayuga, it makes no sense at all.
Also the fucking cliffhanger is ridiculous
If you have a pi kicking around or a docker instance of pihole you can use it to take over dhcp of the router and then set the dns servers in pihole.
That’s what I do currently on my home hub
Well there’s the fact that it’s somewhat true as for example if you use a chromium based browser on Linux hardware acceleration isn’t enabled by default and borderline doesn’t work a lot of the time.
Doesn’t sound so bad till you realise what it does to battery life on a laptop.
I love Linux and we are so close but it’s small things like that, which prevent me getting friends and family to use it consistently.
This does not keep my bookmarks and passwords synced across all the work devices I have to use does it?
I regularly log into 2 work email accounts and have a third that I check monthly. I do this across 5 work devices which are shared, my personal MacBook Air which is used primarily for work and my phone.
If Firefox has sync features that work with cloud storage as opposed to device storage it would be practical otherwise it’s no go
My work emails all run through the google suite of applications and I have two of them plus drive etc so having chrome allows me to have multiple profiles for each work account and they are remote managed by the company.
You know that’s not a Manjaro problem that’s a user problem, you’re specifically warned that AUR compatibility is not guaranteed with Manjaro https://wiki.manjaro.org/index.php/Arch_User_Repository
But people often ignore this and then complain that Manjaro isn’t stable.
And yes Manjaro is fully rolling just because they delay packages a week doesn’t stop it being rolling, that’s like calling tumbleweed not a rolling release?
I’m not arguing that Manjaro is better or worse than Arch just that if you use it as intended it functions correctly and is a good way to learn Linux and Arch.
Tory government investing in nuclear energy?
Nah boris and his lot would rather get bungs from the local lads and keep us in the dark ages.
Labour aren’t exactly gonna do it either with Tory lite candidates atm. We are well and truly proper fucked.
I don’t think I would want to live in a world without cheese.
I think only endeavour and Manjaro still hold any use of the arch based distros.
Endeavour generally has nice tools and is pretty much what you’d do with the install script so it just saves a few steps.
Manjaro because it’s a gateway into learning arch for better or worse.
But other than those two I don’t see the point of any other arch distros other than to be made for the sake of it.
(I forgot steam os 3, but that’s a different topic)
Yeah I use phones on a daily basis as a part of my job everything from apple to Samsung to one plus etc
I wateched strange new worlds and played Stellaris so I guess Star Trek infinite lol
Agreed, I didn’t mind Kirk being in A Quality of Mercy or Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow. However, him being in this episode just felt he was in it for the sake of it.
Depends on the time of the year,
During the summer I’d have one before and after work, during winter once a day or once every two days
