I think a server is for streaming the audio to different devices. They don’t want to stream from phone to the player (or the other way around). They just want to be able to browse library and control playback from their phone.

I’ve seen some very negative feedback about Hetzner, and my needs are much smaller. I really only need a terabyte, and I can’t afford more than around $15 a month, especially if I cannot install software.

I miss some nicher subs, but I really appreciate it. It’s a lot less janky than I expected, and it doesn’t feel empty.
