I thought that said “cocaine” on my first read.

As a retired martial arts instructor, I can’t really say that being shorter gives you much of an advantage when targeting an opponent’s belly…but it does mean you will have a lower center for gravity compared to larger opponents.
In grappling terms, this gives you a slight advantage in applying leverage for most shoulder throws. Your natural pivot point at the hip is lower than theirs so they will be top heavy compared to you.
Unfortunately, if your arms are proportional to your height, then larger opponents will have a reach advantage over you, which may negate the advantage you have due to your lower center of gravity. They will be able to keep you from closing the distance needed to apply your leverage.
But, if you happen to have unusually long arms relative to your height, then you can still get a hold of them before they can get a hold of you…and more effectively position them for a throw.

The point is to demonstrate that they’re still willing to cooperate, like allies. The only thing that will change that, are the US’s own actions.

They are. And the answer is still “no”.

Kind of fucked up that they have to pass a law, requiring Trump to follow another law.

I’m sure it’s just a coincidence.

Honestly, I find it pretty wild that they’re actually bringing him back to the US for trial. They are so incompetent when it comes to the law, that Maduro’s lawyers are going to mop the floor with them. This is going to be a shit-show.

No. They didn’t. Students in Ukraine organized those protests. And it was Russian soldiers that started the fighting in the East.

It isn’t “messy” at all. When the Soviet Union collapsed, Ukraine declared its independence, and the newly formed Russian Federation agreed to the new borders.
Russia no longer has any right to that territory, no matter how many ethnic Russians still live there.

I think you’re misunderstanding those sentiments. A lot of people living in Easter Ukraine ARE ethnic Russians. That’s why they see themselves as Russian. Because they are not ethnic Ukrainians.
That’s literally how settler colonialism works. You occupy the land, and claim it as your own.

All vibes-based conjecture written with the air of a young adult novel. Contrary to what you might hear on the news, Putin is not the Russian Federation, and the Russian Federation is not an empire.
Yeah. Maybe I’ll just let Putin speak for himself, then…
He views Russia as a vast empire, that stretches back centuries in a seamless flow of history. He barely acknowledges the Soviet Union as a break from that legacy…and more like just another chapter in it. He is every bit an imperialist, and believes that is what makes Russia great.
It’s pretty laughable that you’re accusing me of creating some kind of “YA fan-fiction”. It would be so much better, if fans of Russia paid more attention to the things Putin actually says, instead of their own glorified head-cannon. You’d realize that most of your ideas about what Russia stands for, are total fantasy.

That description fits Russia’s actions towards Ukraine, perfectly. Putin sees Ukraine as a vassal state, that belongs to Russia. He believes that allowing it the illusion of independence was a mistake, and he intends to reabsorb it into the Russian Federation empire.
Ukrainians on the other hand, do not view themselves as Russian, or even “belonging to Russia”. It is not the same as a single people having a civil war. It is a fight for independence from a larger colonial force, intent on destroying their cultural independence and stealing their land and resources.

Russia IS “doing an imperialism”, though.

So…“Brexit”, but now for everyone else? These people are so unbelievably disingenuous.

Can’t have no “brown folks” in positions of power, now…can we? /s
Fuckin’ racist POS.

Unless you can stop Russia first, disarming the EU will only get more children killed.

Lol! The whataboutism is off the charts. Anything to deflect from Russia’s current actions…right?
Why aren’t you also advocating for Russia to disarm, if you think the EU should?

The EU has every right to defend itself against acts of aggression by a hostile neighbor…just like Palestinians do. Until countries like Israel, the US and Russia start acting like civilized nations…no one around them is safe.

I would love to see sanctions against Israel and anyone who aids in the genocide of Gaza. I see no difference at all between the actions of Israel, and those of Russia. They should be treated the same.
That’s just where you keep it. No? Just me?
