You are welcome☺️
AuroraShine

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•If you where forced to use reddit what wloud you do
1·11 days agoPeace be with you. You are absolutely right. In my early days of exploring “privacy,” I signed up for Reddit because I thought it was independent, but I was truly wrong. Google and Reddit actually have a deal that lets Google train its AI on user posts. It’s wild that Reddit would allow that. I deleted my account immediately. But, im really happy to find a plattform like lemmy.
Ah, okay, phew! That’s a relief… and Sorry again😅
AHHH! Now i get it. Yes. Im really sorry, but yes. I know that “Trick” 😅 But, even in Invidious i am more the “classic” searching type, with titel 😊
I’m really sorry. Unfortunately, I don’t know what you mean by ‘ID’, as I usually don’t deal with IDs 😅. I normally just go to Invidious.io, select an instance there, and enter regular search terms to watch a video, just like on the real YouTube channel. That’s it.
Thx for comment. So, for Youtube Videos, i using the invidious.io instanz, with the Tor Browser and LibreWolf. Hope, that helps.
Im Glad to help😊
You’re welcome 😊
That’s cool. I’m still new to the privacy community, so I only share things I’ve learned. But this is really helpful.

DeGoogle Yourself@lemmy.ml•My detailed de-google journey: Why and what I replaced withEnglish
2·13 days agoFirst of all, huge respect. I never thought I’d meet someone who has done all this too. I completely share your views on Google and other corporations, they abuse their power and have long crossed ethical boundaries.
I definitely have a few alternatives to share with you. I use the Proton ecosystem, including their email services, their VPN and their AI, Lumo. I stopped using ChatGPT due to Microsoft’s involvement.
In uBlock Origin, under “My filters”, I’ve blocked some of the most important Google services:
||googleapis.com^$important ||gstatic.com^$important ||google-analytics.com^$important ||googletagmanager.com^$important ||www.google.com^$important ||youtube.com^$important ||ytimg.com^$important ||googlevideo.com^$important ||googlesyndication.com^$important ||doubleclick.net^$important ||googleadservices.com^$important ||googleads.g.doubleclick.net^$important ||pagead2.googlesyndication.com^$important ||fonts.gstatic.com^$important ||apis.google.com^$important
Some websites might look visually broken, but they remain usable
For YouTube, I use Invidious instances via the Tor Browser. This gives me much more anonymity.
Also, I’m planning to buy a Fairphone 6 with /e/OS (Murena). A system switch on my current Samsung A53 isn’t really possible, but the Fairphone seems built specifically for these kinds of open systems. I’m excited to see how it works.
And again: Respect! 🙌
😂😂😂Peace be upon you. Thats awesome!!
