I personally hate the UI / UX but to each their own I guess.

I wish we had this in Canada.
Does android just have a huge market share ? Off the top of my head I think I have three people with ‘green bubbles’ in iMessage and I don’t use WhatsApp at all. Canadian for what it’s worth.
Let’s try this again from your app.…
I wonder if the EU is going to get their own ( IMO comprised iPhone ) or no new iPhones at all if their battery law goes in to affect making designs like this not able to be sold there.
Tried using it and it crashed on every attempt to post a reply to something. That being said I’m on the iOS17 dev beta so that could have something to do with it. Looked good though.
Nope just your phone
Unlikely , only so much room in the luggage sadly.
I’ll be having a drink at the Rainbow in his honour a few weeks from now.
I’d argue that reaching out to awaken your watch is objectively more effort than waving your hand in the air. I’m not saying it’s life changing but I’ve grown to really love it.
Hah dangit , was supposed to be ‘is’ , thanks for pointing out the error.
Learn some keyboard shortcuts.
Every email I’ve sent for the last forever has been done with Command + shift + D. It’s a small thing but man it is convenient once you memorise some stuff like that.
Screen shots , Command + shift + 3 for the whole screen. Command + shift + 4 is for screen shotting an individual window or drawing a box around any area of the screen , press the space bar to cycle through them.
So many of the shortcuts I use I don’t even know what I’m pressing because it’s just become muscle memory at this point.
Been on the dev beta since day 1. Standby mode at night time is (edit ) awesome. It’s bright when you first put it on the charger but then dims not long after then goes dark. Then it detects motion to turn on dimly. So you can wake up and wave your hand near ish your phone and it turns on briefly so you can check the time. Way better than fumbling for my watch.
You forgot to add ‘and it’s fucking fantastic’.
I’m visiting California for the first time ( from BC Canada ) next month and I’ll be in LA for a week. On the Sunday we’re going to drive the PCH out past Malibu and I’m super excited for that.
Apple One bundle and Backblaze for my desktop as a just in case.
VLC + Handbrake is all I’ll ever need. Feels like 20 years going strong with that combo. Though I suppose it could be way less.
Backblaze.
