Thanks for explaining. I didn’t know it went unmaintained for a while. I thought programs like balenaEtcher and Rufus might have other issues I was unaware of like certain OSs not flashing correctly
Mostly here to kill time. Big fan of open source game engine recreations/source ports, firmware modding, Linux, and gaming in general.

Didn’t they produce a lot of content in the Vita modding scene?
I’m not surprised. TheFloW has done this before with PS4/5 exploits . A lot of players don’t update their firmware in the hopes they’ll be able to run something like HEN.
Grand Theft Auto IV gave players choice with actions instead of dialogue but I feel like the end result was similar to Cyberpunk.
Characters you decide not to kill will often help you for a bit but it doesn’t drastically effect the story. You still hit a notable point of no return that only really comes into play at the very end.
Personally that feels more like an adventure game. I don’t think Cyberpunk is very unique in what it did.
I feel like you could say that about most games though. I wouldn’t say Cities Skylines is an RPG but you are fulfilling the role of a mayor. Chirper adds to the immersion aspect but I don’t think that’s enough to shift the genre.
Maybe it’s a hot take though. Kind of similarly I wouldn’t call F.E.A.R. a horror game. I’d say it’s an FPS with horror elements.
How so? To mean it felt like Grand Theft Auto IV. You go around doing jobs for individuals and get thrown a handful of choices and possible romance options along the way but it still feels very linear.
Maybe it’s because I associate roleplaying with the idea of player choice but I really don’t think it added a ton to the RPG aspect. World depth? Sure but not by much.
You need to have sound on. She’s getting cussed at for what she’s doing
It would be more for big ticket small items. Laptops and what not. You’d go down as they trickle up.
Yeah. Pull it and go to a different floor and look around. You aren’t standing around waiting for them unless you have some weird 1930s pull station
I mean assuming it takes them five minutes to respond and they’re going to a different floor I’d say that’s plenty of time
Due it being like this since I got it, an intermittent issue, and a common issue online I don’t think it is the unit. Killing Oculus’ software and restarting it would occasionally get it to work so I feel like it might be that. I spent sometime reading Oculus Support threads and others shared my suspicions.
My only other thought would have been my motherboard or power supply. My CPU, GPU, and RAM should be enough.
I have tried that. I unplugged everything except a wireless keyboard I used to navigate the menus and it didn’t help
I find a lot of admins forget or neglect bridges which can be frustrating
There’s a few open source front ends for Twitch that I’ve tried but I’ve had the occasional issue with video playback either stopping and being unable to reload or if I’m watching a VOD it won’t consistently remember my position so I’d say I prefer the official app.
Normally I use open source ones when possible such as NewPipe or Invidious for YouTube for example.
I carry a 40 pin connector adapter as well
Honestly USB C adapters. If you EDC a portable power bank it’s worth looking into a USB C to micro and thunderbolt adapter. It’s a lot easier than carrying around multiple cords and an easy way to help out friends and coworkers.
I think I got mine for a few dollars on Ali Express
I think Wikis themselves are more useful than ever but I don’t know how well a political Wiki would go over. I could see it being very easy to get accused of being biased in one direction.
You may want to do some digging and see if something similar exists though I doubt a lot of websites would be open to outside submissions.
If you do decide to create one I would be interested to see a historical background section. For example if a page is dedicated to improving failing infrastructure in the United States including when and why it was developed, prior large pushes for maintenance, and the history of funding.
I feel like knowing how things go the way that they are should be a bigger part of people’s political views. That is unrelated to your question though; just an idea.
I could be wrong but I think there are Lutris install scripts that help with that
Do you have an example of apps designed for creating bootable media switching to a paid model?
