you used the informal royal “we”. as in “we the people”. you said we start demanding better.
in that comment you are stating that we demand.
if anyone is moving goal posts, it’s you.

you know what they say about assumptions…

the only way things improve is we start demanding better.
if we don’t band together to demand it, what will actually change?
awful lot of we being thrown around for you to not be implying something…

then demand it of your leaders, don’t demand it of your equals. we’re just as helpless as you are.

they should, but that’s not the reality we live in.

maybe where you live. closest train station is an hour away from me.
closest bus stop is an hour away from me
riding a bicycle would make my hour long commute two hours.
if I drove to a bus stop and rode a bus the rest of the way to work it would still take me two hours.
it’s always a black or white solution with you people and you never think of the grey area. dare I say at least 50% of the US population falls into the grey. if a solution fails to accommodate for more than half a population it’s not a solution, it’s just ineffective.

personally I would rather turn a hour long commute across state lines into a four hour long walk.
think of how thick my calves would be!

Obama wears a brown suit and Republicans loses their minds.
then, this literal shit
why would I get milk from the store when the nanny can just milk me instead?
one lick and you’ll be saying, “this tastes like shit!”

seems like the perfect opportunity to resell their fiber as your own ISP. then in 6-8 months sell your company to them and make a profit large enough to move because your neighbors are gonna be pissed.

they were hounding me every fucking day on my only windows device, so I blocked all windows update domains on my pihole.
I don’t use it often, but use it to do 3D modeling/slicing.
it’d be “Large”
small > big as little > large
I read that at first that he sold his daughter and if he lost he would get laughter. really turned that story on its head.

yes. all of the images I use are cached and stored in my locally hosted gitlab registry.
I think I’ve got around 120-140 images. a lot of what I have is just in case of an emergency.
I’ve always imagined I could build and run technological infrastructure after a social collapse or something, so I have a lot of images that could be a good basis to start with. Most OS images, popular DB images, etc. it would probably never work, but I’d rather have the option than not.
in fairness to the cat, that finish looked like shit before they walked on it.
there is a cat betweem me and the sreen
you mean there’s a screen between you and a cat 😸
so it’s a $45 fee to fly.
