Ah, communism is like unicorns. Many people like them but nobody have seen them alive. Because every communist state is not communist but authoritarian.
This game looked like a scam before release. The developers copied art style and their trailer scenes from other games, and never shown gameplay videos. In the trailers it looked like AAA, but was developed by a studio without required experience. There were doubts the game existed at all. Well, it existed, but was far from what trailers shown.
Yes. Although it’s possible to learn programming without knowing English, English is required for those who wants to be good programmers. All documentation is in English, naming and comments should be in English too, otherwise it would be hard to maintain code for developers from other countries.
I hope they will return the original Angry Birds series to the stores.

Filtering is more flexible in some cases, but why should I filter a community instead of blocking it?
What are those ways? I’m really interested, 'cause as I know startups usually search for investors.
Pricing for Ukraine didn’t change.
Investors are not bad. They cover early-stage expanses, and of course, they want to return that money and get profit. Having investors is better than having nothing. As an alternative, workers can work for free until the company becomes profitable, or even invest some money in it. But I don’t think most workers will agree with such a scheme.
That’s the main issue. But their approach to the economy was awful as well. Unions just collected money and did nothing, plants and factories produced either copies of goods created in the capitalist world, or things that looked bad. People who wanted to wear good-looking clothes were waiting for the end of the month because shops to gain the desired number of purchases were selling western goods for a day or two. Jeans weren’t officially imported and sold. People were buying jeans for two monthly salaries, and it was ok because anyway it was hard to spend the earned money. For a worker, it wasn’t beneficial to improve something in the factory, and nobody wanted to suggest such improvements. There was no market and because of this, nobody wanted to make better goods or make the production process more effective. There was no need in economy of resources, and because of this, production was ineffective. The Soviets admitted it, but weren’t able to change it. Goods made in the USSR and briefly in the ex-USSR countries after the USSR collapsed, were ugly, outdated and expensive. They just couldn’t compete in the market. And there are many people telling capitalism is bad. Capitalism is more effective in providing cheaper good-looking goods because companies have to make profit and compete for customers.
Actually, anything pro-communist collects likes, and anything pro-capitalist collects dislikes. That’s what I observe.
The Justice pic: a man yells at the kids stealing apples from his garden, while the kids are running away, loosing all the apples.
Usually dogs and cats are just there. Hungry and lonely, abandoned by their owners or having no alive owners. Between feeding and not feeding such pets soldiers choose the first one. And the pets start living with the soldiers. Then the soldiers make photos of their new pets. So, it’s not propaganda.
And there’s an important correction: animals are victims of what Russians are doing.
True. Google has good regional prices and pays creators more than some other streaming services. By not blocking ads I support both platform and creators. Furthermore, creators in my country get more money from premium viewers than from ads.
I’m a Liftoff user, but I was waiting for Sync for Lemmy because I liked the design of Sync for Reddit (based on screenshots). Basically yes, Liftoff and Sync for Lemmy are pretty similar, but Sync also has a ton of adjustments and cool features Liftoff is missing. And Sync has clean appealing design. After using it Liftoff looks worse.
Regional pricing would be great. For my country ad-free price is ridiculously high.
I was talking about servers, not client apps.
Regarding the app, yes, $20 is too expensive for just turning off ads. Moon Reader Pro asks $8 for an ad-free experience, and yet I think it’s a bit too much for me. But it’s a market, and demand will correct the price. If nobody pays $20 to disable ads, the devs can consider reducing the price, at least temporarily. So I don’t see any problems here.
As for totally free apps, I consider them as a sort of gift. Some people are giving away the results of their labor for free, maybe because it’s their hobby, or because of ideology, but definitely because they have spare time to work on their apps. But it can change, and active development can stop. The only thing able to motivate them to continue the work is a profit, allowing them to spend some time without sacrificing anything else. We can end up with ads, subscriptions, single-time payments, or maybe just donations. I think it’s inevitable for active projects.
