My cats both like to be near the space heater when its on. So far we haven’t had any trouble with it, but we always stay in the same room and keep an eye on them.

I started using Lemmy a bit before the blackout and all that fun stuff. I was using both before the blackout, then just Lemmy during, and I realized I had a lot more free time and was enjoying the posts on Lemmy more, so I just stayed here full time.
I love Audiobookshelf for audiobooks, didn’t realize it supported podcasts as well. I will have to look into that, thanks!
I used the trial and then just started paying for it. So far, it is much better results, and I like that they do not track you. Also, their small web lens has been fun to play around with.
I am not sure if it’s complete or not. I don’t know too much about it, just that it was recommended to me and the premise sounds interesting.
Alright cool thanks, I have added that to my list as well.
I prefer silver jewelry (on myself at least), but for furniture type things gold is alright.
Ah cool, I have subscribed to it as well! Thanks!
I have not yet, and I have seen it on a few lists, so I will have to check it out, thank you!
Glad to hear it has a satisfying end. I have been quite enjoying the series so far. I need to figure out what I am going to read next, as I’m nearing the end of Cradle. I am thinking of starting the Revelation Space series by Alastair Reynolds, as I usually like to go back and forth between fantasy and sci-fi, but I’m always open to recommendations.
How do you like it so far? The Discworld series is my personal favorite, so I am always happy to see people getting into it! If you are enjoying it, you should check out !discword@lemmy.ml.
I am currently reading Reaper, book 10 in the Cradle series by Will Wright. So far enjoying the series.
Also on re-reading Carpe Jugulum by Terry Pratchett for my endless Discworld re-read.
Yeah, the DBD community is pretty bad.
I switched because Microsoft just keeps getting worse and worse, and I like having complete control over my system. And limiting the amount of my data going out.
Linux in general uses much less system resources than windows, and I like being able to easily change my workflow (desktop environment, window manager, etc).
I came here to say that as well. Or, as @vd1n says, mushrooms. It really helps remind you that the world is wondrous, and even after it’s over, it makes it easier to see the joy in everything.
Do it! Linux is great, and not nearly as hard as its reputation suggests.
I love incremental games as well. My favorite so far is Kittens Game.
That is a bummer, they were one of my go-to sites. Very sad to hear.
If you are willing to pay kagi is great.
