kitty. The ssh kitten is enough reason to use it. I work ob a lot of different systems that require OTP. Using the ssh kitten I can type the OTP once and can spawn new terminals that ssh and cd to the remote direvtory without logging in again. Obviosly the tabs and window panes are are a must too. There’s tons of other useful features that I like, like using hints to select nunbers, filenames, urls, etc in the terminal output.

Also the streak basically doesn’t matter at all. What made me uninstall is the slow pace. It felt like I was stuck on the same words and topics forever. It felt like I was not actually learning anything, which if you’ve ever started learning a language if a formal setting, is very apparent.

Crystal hot sauce is my goto. Tangy and just the right amount of heat to casually throw on anything if you don’t want to go into battle mode. Frank’s come close. Surprised that I’m the only one mentioning Crystal.
Secret Aardvark I think would be my second goto if you aren’t looking for a hot sauce with the acidity of Crystal, Tabasco, Frank’s, etc.

Honestly the only thing I can think of that termux can do that kitty can’t is saving sessions
This genZ-bait soundtrack is making what looks like pretty cool gameplay look incredibly lame. Too many of these GaaS titles that inevitably enshittify use this same marketing to the point where it gives a Pavlovian signal to stay away.

However there is a very good implementation of the N64 in the Mister FPGA project. The downside is there aren’t many emulation features that you’d expect out of a software emulator (e.g. save states)

Depending on how many bourbon colas you’re drinking, it might be worth paying extra for an locally made soda if possible. If you don’t have someone that makes soda locally (which is probably likely), maybe consider buying from “gourmet soda” brands like Hank’s.
KRAW@linux.communityto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Why are American universities so expensive?English6·7 months agoAdministrative bloat. At my university, if my lab lands a grant, 60% goes to the university and only 40% is used for actual research. There’s a long chain of people whose jobs are to answer emails, and they all need to be paid.

Ah, yes. Nintendo has definitely done evil on the level of… checks notes …slavery.

From what I can recall, this is not what happened. He has stated multiple times that he’s designed it to work as much like a DE-10 Nano as possible. There are no significant differences between his board and the original from what I can tell.

It’s a great project. However I do not quite understand what the motivation of these consolized Misters are. It’s going to take significant software development effort to make a Mister completely polished, and it is such a niche target audience I’d think it wouldn’t be worth it.
KRAW@linux.communityto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Men, are you physically affectionate with other male friends? (eg, hugging, snuggling, playful wrestling, etc). If you aren't, do you wish it was more socially acceptable if it isn't in your culture?English9·1 year agoI hug my guy friends when I haven’t seen them in a while (e.g. my friends who live far away). Snuggling is super weird, and I don’t know of any guys who have done that. Feels like if I did, my wife would not be very happy. Affectionate fighting seems just over the top. Seems like something limited to children and movies.
I think the amount of physical affection I get from other men is fine. Don’t really need more
