I’m enjoying the show so far, my only gripe is that there is too much lens flare.

If sales are going down, prices of the motherboards are going up.

it’s weird, and refreshing, to find someone who actually reads the article and don’t base his comments only on the header, and also provides some additional info.

Seen it recently myself, about a couple years ago, never watched before, and it’s ok. I enjoyed it.
Don’t read too much into the comments, just watch it, of you don’t like it stop watching it.
For me it’s worthy, i have warched at this moment all ST except TOS, I tried it and I can’t.

I played on the C64, I was so high in the Ghostbusters theme, I loved the game, I even finished at least a couple of times. It has some light resource management, some light arcade ghost capture and it was fun, I had a fond memory of it.
I sometimes loaded the game just to watch the menu, where you have a ball that bounces over the lyrics of the song while it plays on the background.

Didn’t liked much the episode, best parts the Kirk-Spock interactions, and Im not a TOS guy.
The Pike finale with Batel was bad, also it was annunciated before, so no surprise when it happens which does it worst.
Worst SNW season so far. Not terribly bad, ,but definitely not good

You and I had a mind meld, because I was thinking exactly that

Not a big fan of this episode, I feel that you don’t have the time to develop a friendship between two enemy sworn races, you shouldn’t try to do it.
If you are into Metrons and super powerful entities, just go all the way in, and make time go slower, like the Picard-Flute episode, you can’t have two women playing Heroscape and Chess in two days and being friends forever. Too close to Enemy of Mine, a movie I love, and this fell a bit short.

Yeah, I was wondering if the gorn was gonna be pregnant, called Zammis the newborn, and if Ortegas will have to go to the Gorn home world to recite the Jeriba lineage :P

“Four-and-a-Half-Vulcans” ready to beam up xD
the intro with the Pike monotonous/vulcan voice was fun also.

Too much docudrama for my taste, I really enjoyed Uhura and how she sees trough Beto.
The ending was emotive, and that for me was the best part, people are in Starfleet, they have their reasons, but the main one is that the like the Federation and they fight to preserve it, even die if needed.

It wasn’t a silly question after reading the OP answer xD

I can’t be the only one with goosebumps when they say to Kirk that now he was now the captain? He looked at the chair with a little fear. That was good

that is my only concern as well, in a 10 episode season if already 2 has been on the “frivolous side” there’s not much left for actual scifi-exploration stuff.
In the other tv series you had 24 episodes each season, you can go around on 2 or 3 episodes each season with silly stuff that was welcome to change the tone from the more serious episodes, here I’m worried. I liked the episode thou, so I’m complaining, but I liked it.

yeah, the ending was too hot, and it’s not even August yet :P

Uhura speech it was very meta and was really emotional, it was a speech straight from a ST fan, nice writing and performing there Edit: bloopers were hilarious, and with Frakes directing the blooper of “Kirk” doing the Riker manouver was so funny

Best thing in the ep is the slap on Spocks face by nurse Chapel.
She tooks impulse to execute, very solid slap.
This season the relation between Chapel and Spock has taken a 180, and was so sudden and so bad executed that Im not enjoying this season as much for now

this is the right answer, also for me this question depends on the processor you are fitting this cooler with, if it’s a high end i9/RYzen 9 xxxxK or some i7/Ryzen 7 xxxxK maybe some efficiency lost is gonna be a problem in any case you need to do some heat test with furmark or any software that stress the cpu
I love ST, but I don’t love all ST, I try to watch everything and something I’m not enjoying I just stop watching it, for example TOS or Discovery from S2-3 (can’t recall), I don’t like I stop but I least I give a try, I don’t judge the series just watching trailers or reading posts about how awful is something until I have watched it (this goes for all the hate to Academy pre-airing)
If someone asks me, yes, I’m a ST fan, I love it, but I’m not a fanboy, I don’t like everything from ST, I like to say when I don’t like something (like Section 31 movie, is so bad I don’t even consider it ST).
And yes, you are a fan, you’ve watched some of the core of ST and ejoyed it, and you are looking forward to watch more :)
