I was golfing alone in 2017. I decided to post a picture on instagram of me golfing which I wouldn’t have posted if I had gone alone. I’m not really into social media so I’m not even sure why I did it. At the end of the round I look and see a like from a girl I hadn’t seen in years. I didn’t even know she followed me. I message her, then from there the snowball rolls into us getting married.
If I didn’t go golfing, if I wasn’t sent out on the course alone, I’d I didn’t post the picture, if she didn’t like it, none of it ever would have happened.
People who do that I find so annoying and honestly pathetic. It’s like they think they’re better than everyone else and can do whatever they want.
The only thing I miss is my smaller subs is that I really enjoyed for my specific interests. Hopefully they grow here. For general content I enjoy Lemmy much more

What sucks is that’s barely a dent in their numbers.
Tbh I’m still confused on the differences and have literally zero attachment to the one I chose
I think if this works out I may switch permanently if they back out. If not I will only use Reddit as the occasional info lookup and use this as my “social media”
ROTS novelization was dope. It expands every aspect of the story in such a cool way.
