Really? I use MicroG and Play Store with Play Protect enabled, I installed Droid-ify from GitHub and never got any information from Protect, maybe it’s because I dont use real Pkay Services idk.

Use droid-ify it has better interface than fdroid official app and is always up to date. Never had any problem with play protect

Sync for me is really simple and really well made client, I just don’t like old feeling of all other Lemmy clients, maybe all beyond Voyager but this client is only on iOS.

Every app has different users, some liked (in reddit days) Boost some Infinity and some (me included) Sync, it was quite cheap because there were so many users I just bought Pro version for 40 liras and enjoyed it. But now when Lemmy user base is so small dev wants get simmilar ammount of money with lower count of users, thats why he wants me to pay not 40 but 449 liras for ad free, I use also Infinity at the same time but it is really bugged right now so I will stick now with Sync but 450 liras is too much for me.

Yeah they are collecting on Android too but if you have Google Play Services, I like Google apps like Youtube, Gmail, Photos but I like to also minimize data collection using microG and I’m recommending this to anyone having custom vanilla ROM without Play Services.

Yeah, I’m using it from a long time and I’m happy with it. But I’m also pissed at google what is actively blocking firefox on their services, e.g. GDrive always shows that when loading a page encountered an error or when linking discord to YouTube it shows Something went wrong but of course working on chromium. But having FF and WebKit is an really good for competition to do not let google rule whole internet.
