Technology@lemmy.world•Apple Was Caught Off Guard by MacBook Neo's "Off the Charts" DemandEnglish
18·3 days agoI just now noticed that the wallpaper in that image says MAC.
How did you not understand the comment you replied to at all?
And that’s not the same sticker, there is absolutely no shadow outside of the outlet stickers in the photo you showed and it’s clear, in several ways, from the post photo that it’s not a sticker.
I really feel like you barely glanced on the post photo, had the information that there are stickers like what you showed in the picture and decided that you are correct based on that glance and knowing outlet stickers exist. It’s extremely childish and stupid.

Games@lemmy.world•What game do you personally have the most hours played in?English
5·6 days agoNo way to really check but I’m pretty sure it’s Minecraft. Played it since the very first public build, it’s been less and less each year the past few years but it has to be over 5000 hours total. Got over 2000 hours in Warframe, Destiny 2, Rocket League and over 1000 hours in No Man’s Sky, Terraria, Starbound, Halo 1, 2, 3 and Reach. There’s surely one or two games more that I’m not remembering ATM and over 500 hours in many, many others.
Yes, I play games a lot, and a lot of games.
The bottom band is definitely “harder” than the top one based on how illegible the logo is.
Objectively wrong. And american “football” makes no sense as a name.
Ah, shock sites v137.0 (obvious choice of version number).

2·10 days agoClassic at this point. And the many stories from a wide variety of people about his smell. He’s a toddler in all ways possible, except that toddlers aren’t evil and pedos (obviously) and I think most toddlers could figure out puzzles that he could never do.

3·10 days agoSo many things they’re doing feel like this. A few things I could see being a conscious and planned deal but most things completely go against any interest they have so it’s clear that it’s just an unbelievable level of incompetence, stupidity and ignorance.

4·10 days agoKinda the ultimate name for a boomer shooter. And I just now realised how easily misinterpreted that name can be, had never thought of the “boomer” part as the generational term. It has no connection to that but I absolutely think many people think it does.
That’s just the name of the dude from Home Alone.
But the image us about hand vs vibrator, not about you doing it yourself vs someone else…
You somehow forgot a whole word.

Technology@lemmy.world•Discomfort with modern technology shapes Gen Z's desire to live in the pastEnglish
281·12 days ago“to live in the past” is so fucking dumb, it shows that the person who wrote that title and the publisher who approved it thinks depending in AI, not caring about the data collected from you, jumping into whatever new popular thing and never having any critical thoughts about where this is all going is a good thing and the future.
They’re actually living in the now and making choices from that and for the future, they understand the objectively bad practices and shitty behaviour of the late stage capitalism we’re living in.
Kinda late to be realising that when you’re in full armor and there when it begins.
