I miss the OG UK kitchen nightmares, the American ones are pretty unwatchable for me personally but these UK ones were great comfort TV.

Personally I’m the kind of guy that would probably just remove it and keep eating, however it should be noted that piece of plastic was likely wrapping one of the ingredients, that means one side would be clean and food safe but the other would be the side that laid on random stuff/surfaces, got pissed on by rats in the warehouse, etc etc. Again I wouldn’t be too fussed myself because I think a bit of exposure to nasty stuff is part of life but I can definitely see how it could be a problem.
I find Subway absolutely gross anyway and would never eat there, my partner likes it though…
Now I just need to figure out which crimes would get me life in Norway without hurting anyone. Maybe that’s not a bad backup retirement plan to be honest…
Yeah if you’re not a regular then I’d just get some silicone ones with the little flappies (not sure how to explain it, they’re like “layered”). Nowhere as good as moulded ones but still do the job and let you hear the music while keeping the ears safe. I keep mines in the little box they came in hanging on my keychain.
We (NATO countries) would have your back but damn is this a bleak thought, I do not like imagining this situation unfolding at all.
Man I can’t help but cringe when reading this and picturing myself handling and eating them. In principle, I’m all for it, but I’m kind of a somewhat squeamish eater and I think for me they would need to be integrated into something where you can’t really tell it’s there (protein bars, soups, whatever).
In Europe many countries are at 12€ a pack…
That’s what the second cell phone is for.
You mean I’m watching the 12 hours of BTS (again).
The arm just got caught in the crossfire.
To be fair, I enjoy both these things but I don’t know that I would classify them as hobbies, more as something I do to wind down. I can see video games going into hobby or even profession territory but THC is just a medicine for me. A hobby is something that needs to challenge me, in which I learn things and get better at it.
Own as in with a mortgage or own outright? Different things…
I think the non-milky ones are usually called sorbets, but for example small fruity ice creams on sticks we still can ice creams and these don’t have milk. So I guess my answer is no we don’t (in Europe).
Damn that’s a pricy toy! Anything more entry level but still good? I think I might be down for a manual one with a torch.
Like when you put them under hot water? I had those too.
Lemmy is the only app I use because I want to. Others I gave to use for work etc.
I can’t find “DHV”, I guess that’s an old model? What would you recommend for something modern that “just works”?
I tried blender in those old days but stuck with cinema 4D at the time, blender really sucked. These days it’s totally awesome kinda wish I had more time for it but I’m focused on other things.
The French love their pills though, especially anti-depressants, antibiotics, etc.
I guess we could use the term “swappable” here as a distinction.
