Nah it’s not that kind of game. I’m currently playing with my partner and she isn’t the biggest gamer and so far she’s only had a little difficulty at certain parts. These games are designed very well to be able to cater to those with lots experience.
I hate that what sites offer actual free filing seems to change every year. First TaxAct was good but then i guys it got bought or just enshittified so then freetaxusa was the “most” free. I’m sure that’s been made worse since i used it last year but i guess just chuck it on the pile of the millions of problems that could be solved by getting corporate money out of politics.
So, there’s a difference between sound absorption and soundproofing. Curtains and foam panels can do wonders for making your room sound better acoustically but won’t do much to lower the amount of sound getting out. The only way to actually soundproof is either by adding a bunch of mass (bricks/concrete blocks/mass loaded vinyl) or by creating air gaps (or some combination of the two). Conflating soundproofing and sound absorption is very common but they are different. . Paper egg cartons will do little to nothing for either sound absorption or soundproofing; this myth comes from old style sound absorption foam tiles that kinda looked like egg cartons and were therefore referred to as such.
You’re absolutely right about sealing door gaps helping though.
Or just leave them. Leaves are good, people. If you can, leave your leaves.
Looks like they’re out of stock on the on sale ones to me

K. Nor do industry traditions invalidate my opinion.
News headlines aren’t limited by space on physical paper anymore. If your headline is confusing because of traditions based on outdated limitations it’s not a good headline imo.
The complaints i read on another thread was that it never stops holding your hand, like telling you how to complete puzzles before you even get a chanve to try
I’ll be your friend
I know a lot of people won’t believe it happens, because the simpler and more mundane explanation (which is usually the true one) is that it isn’t necessary because of all the data that we know is being collected like browsing habits, searches, etc but my partner has a few times tried to test this as a party trick. Normally her ads are for like kitcschy knick-knacks or like funky flower pots but one time we were hanging with friends talking about this discussion and we decided to all repeat out loud “lab grown diamond engagement rings” for about 15 min. Not 1 hour later she had an Instagram ad that said word for word “lab grown diamond engagement rings.” I know it’s anecdotal and isn’t proof but we’ve done this a few times and it’s seemed to work about half the time; each time we get an ad that’s both hyper specific to what we’re taking about and also not something close to anything we’ve been advertised before.
Actually in ID4 there was an explanation. Basically all of humanity’s computer tech came from reverse engineering alien tech. So our computers worked with theirs because they were based on theirs. Maybe this isn’t this best logic, but they did at least have an in universe explanation.
Even worse than that imo is ‘quarter of’. I swear to god it’s been used to mean both before or after whatever hour they’re talking about
This is very interesting but dang that Wikipedia page is kind of a mess compared to what I’m used to seeing
For ebay prices are sometimes meaningless unless you filter by “sold items”. But yeah looks like they’re going for around $100-$170
I like curbside in theory but I’ve been burned enough times with either items being out of stock or weird ass/ more expensive substitutions makes it feel not worth that hassle
What do they expect the Palestinians to do, just accept their own extermination?
I mean you can fight back against your oppressors without massacring civilians, many of whom aren’t even Isrealis
Can’t believe no one has mentioned this yet but my big one is physics in microgravity. There are some that do it well (like obv Apollo 13 given how they filmed it, and The Expanse is usually pretty good about it too) and plenty that it doesn’t really matter but there’s a bunch of movies and tv shows that hang major plot points on poorly thought out physics. The worst offender imo was ironically the movie Gravity, where a major character dies because apparently when two people are tethered to each other in zero-g and the line goes taut they don’t just bounce back towards each other, oh no, because there’s an extra special force that keeps pulling on the futher person so he has to make some dramatic self sacrifice. I was so sad because that movie looked really amazing from a cinematography perspective and obviously a lot of people loved it regardless but i just couldn’t get past how dumb that and a few other scenes were.
