Nope, I’m really used to GIMPs workflow and would actually prefer if they didn’t change it. I don’t want to learn a whole new program for no benefit. If you really care go use Krita.

Install GIMP, Krita, or Inkscape instead
Is it really contrarian to like the FSF these days? I mean people seem to hate Stallman too but both are pretty important in the history and continuing existence of free software.
The four essential freedoms are in my view as important as the FSF says, and any license that doesn’t meet all four will be met with skepticism from me absolutely.
Also, the GPL is a real, legal license, and even if there’s a silly clause that causes it to be incompatible, that’s still a legal liability - of course they have to take it seriously.
100%, and it doesn’t seem to lay out a legal definition of “good” so it’s actually worse than useless - it’s ambiguous.
You’re sure it’s in pairing mode? On my XM4s pairing mode is achieved by holding down the power button for a few seconds. It’ll say “pairing” in the headphones and blink red and blue IIRC.
Most people don’t have that experience. I’m AuDHD and I really like weed, personally. But I found it demotivated me, so I decided to quit it, and I cold turkey put it down about a month ago. When I start working again, I’ll probably start smoking again because it helps with the day-to-day stressors that cause me an undue amount of, well, chronic anxiety.
You know what really messed me up? Vyvanse. I got some really intense anxiety, even after being on it for a few months. Decided it wasn’t for me.
This is the endless argument, though. I like the way GNOME works by default, so the configurability is irrelevant. Some people want configurability, which is fair, but after 9 years I just don’t care anymore.
Again, it’s subjective. The last time I used KDE it felt hacked together and inconsistent, and I got exactly the opposite impression of GTK and GNOME. I thought KDE4 was good but KDE5 looking like a knockoff Windows complete with context menu hell just isn’t for me. It’s much more developed now, but in my own testing I find a lot more inconsistency from KDE and Qt stylings in general, and I prefer to not have to touch my machine once it’s setup and I really find GNOME’s workflow to be best for me.
I consider KDE to be the lower quality option so that’s subjective.

You’re giving package thieves too much credit. It’s straight up unethical to steal from your neighbour. I can defend stealing from a Walmart, but not another member of your community.
Have you SEEN the base install size for Windows 11?
Myself and many others have found lots of use in these features. If it’s not important to you that’s fine, but there ARE reasons many of us default to btrfs now.
Copy on write, compression, and snapshots are really good whistles, though.
I think most of us pick this up intuitively. The title is basically “water is wet” to those of us that have submitted stuff late all throughout school.
Don’t be Reddit. It’s obviously a joke.
They don’t need to do that, feds already have access to all of your banking information.
GrapheneOS periodically (once a day or so) forces me to put in the passcode. If this isn’t a stock Android feature that’s another reason to use Graphene. It also has a “lockdown” button in the power button menu that forces the same behaviour.
Yeah, personally I think the copyleft the GPL grants is really powerful and it’s the only license that gets used in my projects. Thanks for that link, those licenses always rubbed me the wrong way.
