Tik tok had some amazing news sources. I’d say the Washington Post on there was pretty good, they actually reported on the bullshit going on at the paper as well. There was a lot of great sources on the app. I’ll say that tiktok is the only place you’ll see news on Palestine not from the pov of Israel.

You might like Servant x Service, it’s not explicitly a romance anime, more of a comedy but it has some romance sprinkled in from what I remember. It focuses on a a few employees working for the local government at a DMV style office where they deal with customers all day. Light hearted and definitely relatable if you’ve ever worked a service job.

Golden Time was pretty good when I saw it 12 years ago. It’s a college setting so a lot of high school tropes are gone and the characters act more like young adults. I wouldn’t say you need to watch it, but it’s not bad.

Ore Monogatari or “My Love Story” is a favorite for me and my partner. It is a high school setting, but the characters and the pacing make it worth it. If you give it a shot just make it to episode 3 before writing it off.

You probably wouldn’t like Toradora but it’s highly regarded. High school setting again with a lot of clichés, but the clichés are used really well, and make up for the fact that you’ve probably already seen the stereotypes play out before.

I once worked a job where if I was five minutes late or had to leave early the shift before or the shift after a holiday I would forfeit my holiday pay. That’s when I learned that holiday pay isn’t guaranteed in the states. Never worked another holiday at that job again.

If you’re an American and you’re not a native American you’re family immigrated here. Why is it so weird to want to know where your family or ancestors come from, I’m lucky and can trace my family name back a couple hundred years. That guy rubbed me the wrong way especially at the end talking about how you can’t trust people “related to the pirating scene” and their claims about Denuvo, but you can totally trust the people who make it and need to make money off it.

Also the Denuvo dude referencing a study and using it to show why companies need Denuvo and then walking it back and saying he doesn’t trust the study because it also shows that after 3 months it’s useless was honestly just kind of funny.

I guess since I’ve pirated a game before I’m “related to the scene” so my opinion therefore is invalid in the eyes of the all mighty denuvo but I hope they crash and burn, and if it’s true that they hire the people who crack their games I hope they fuck it up from the inside while getting paid.

I had an employee direct me to self checkout at a fucking gas station were I was the only customer in the store. Shits pathetic.

It doesn’t, it’s because people shoplift at self checkout all the time and the big retailers can’t figure out how to stop it. Almost every shop in my town forces you to do self checkout, they don’t even have cashiers most of the time. Last time I was at my local walmart they had like 6 self checkouts and 4 cashiers just standing there staring at everyone trying to find shoplifters. They still can’t find them though lol.
