Never ceases to amuse me how they send a ridiculous amount of deputies to one situation. They couldn’t agree on a team or maybe two qualified people, no, let’s send the whole fucking department and have extras just incase.

We’re in Generation Duh where people think doing this kind of thing is funny. But it’s funny only to them, was thought up of in 2 minutes, then discarded once any attention has been brought to it before they think of the next stupid idea that they think is funny.

A game that I got for $2.49 on Steam and that was within the first year it released in. I played it fondly for the first couple years, then it was off and on. I stopped playing at the time when Duke Fishron was introduced along with Plantera and all of them.

For some reason, I couldn’t get back into the game as fully as I’d like. Things kept getting added and added, then Moon Lord and all of that got added. I felt that the game got too steep, even though there’s lots of content.

I still have the original underground/hell theme playing in my head. $2.49 for 850+ hours well-played.

So, you’re leaving out the details as to why you really got banned. It’s not because of the word itself, you used it in a context you knowingly placed it in.

I used to have moderated chat rooms and forums.

People didn’t like me because I operated on a neutral, non-bias level of judgment. I also actually did shit like, banning/removing people who were problematic or fueling drama.

I guess we’re still not ready for that kind of moderation yet.

If you’re dealing with an LLM, which you most likely are, the AI will adapt based upon what words and scenarios you use. It can’t readily know what you’re aiming for and what characters you’re using to treat them as individual entities in whatever the RP is. You have to do an awful lot of heavy lifting to get to the point of the AI to grasp what you want out of it.

TikTok is just the thing to be into today. I’ve seen very old uploaded YouTube videos still be in triple digits or even double digits. Some videos would be in millions but it wasn’t over night, it was over time since it was uploaded.

It’s a class-based metaphor that judges how successful you are when compared to an idealistic version of someone who is successful by class. The Jones’s are portrayed metaphorically as this rich, up-to-date, always on top of things, always getting things first and other things. If you don’t meet those kind of qualifications, then you’re not keeping up with the Jones’s.

I’ll give you a better Gary Stu example - Superman. The guy was originally designed to be all-perfect, all-knowing, all-seeing and incredibly strong with a reinforced moral system for good. He has to always be the one saving the day, he’s got the looks and that ran for a very long time. Up until the 90s did we get ballsy writers to actually kill him off temporarily, but even then he came back shortly after renewed.

Quite frankly, I don’t like Superman that much for that reason. Sure he’s been going through different arcs in the past 30 - 40 years that challenges his mystique but I can’t care enough for him to even feel slightly in favor of him.

Batman is more of my level. Sure, he has his fair deal of plot armor, but his origin has always been that he was just a guy who has a lot of wealth and wears a bat suit while wielding lots of technology at his disposal. He can still get his ass kicked, he can still be succumbed to everything a normal human would suffer with and isn’t too afraid to admit that he’s human who would need help from more capably powerful heroes.

If it already is, because it had already been decided. People once again misunderstand what exactly the 1st Amendment even covers. It protects you from the government silencing your voice and expression, which is what someone like Trump has been working hard to do.

It does not and should not protect you outside from that. You do not have a case on your hands when you’re banned from an online forum for using hate speech. Because that forum, is not the government. Facebook, is not the government. Reddit, is not the government. So on and so forth.

These lowlifes will turn anything into content, including everything from relationships to childbirth. That’s how pathetic it’d be.

I think what always has plagued software engineering jobs is the office politics. The constant meetings. The ridiculous standards. The monotonous routines. The zig-zagging logistics of upper management. The dead-end dread feeling.

I don’t even work software engineering, but it’s just something I always heard about and kinda seen a bit of.

IMDB has existed for a long, long time. It’s honestly a shame as to what they turned into. They used to have been like the pinnacle of online movie reviewing and showcasing. Then they decided to axe the forums. Then they decided to blanket their splash page with what big movie is happening.

It just declined from there.

I’m incredibly jaded about voting. I think these mid-terms and the next general election are elections of which I will not bother with. And it isn’t even because of what’s being done with voters rights or the intimidating corruption from the republicans/trump.

It is stemming more from me realizing that there has to be more done than just simply voting someone end. That there has to be more done with getting society straightened up more to be aware as to how badly they’re getting fucked with. There just simply has to be more there to be done and I think voting isn’t enough.

I’ve voted in past mid-terms and general elections, I felt I tried my part in being with those who tried to vote against and vote out corruption in anyway I can. But, I’m having difficulty in seeing how much voting can do in these chaotic times.
