Just crazy cheap. I spent probably 5 dollars on shaving last year. That’s using the most expensive blades made.

I still use safety razors. I get all excited when I’m at a bathroom that I can slip one in the wall.
For sure. Lots of people knew how awesome game cube was and what it was capable of. Its lacking graphics with extremely well made games. The dreamcast was a powerhouse with VGA out. Barely anyone knew how amazing it was. It could have blown away Sony. Sega really dropped the ball. I wish I had known when it came out.
I’m absolutely fine with 1.5 million. I enjoy lemmy much more than reddit. I feel like content and conversations here are better. None of the karma farming and corporate promotion disguised as natural content.
Depends on the distro, times have really changed in the last 5 years and even more since the steam deck was released. I distro hop a lot and my recommendation for a newbie would be pop os! Or Ubuntu. I was really impressed with pop, everything just worked right on install. Same with Ubuntu for the most part. Any guide for the current release of Ubuntu will work on pop os.
I’ve been using EndeavorOS recently and enjoyed it but I wouldn’t recommend it to someone new to linux. It’s not as hard to use as other distros but might be a bit much for a newcomer.
I was in Arizona recently and a waiter looked at me like I was an idiot asking what kind of pop they had.
Fuck yeah. From my understanding Faygo was a big reason we call it pop. Rock & Rye is probably the greatest flavor of any pop.
As someone from Michigan, I’m headed to Utah in two weeks. I’m sorry but I’m eating as much in-n-out as I can talk my gf into.
Do we have any numbers on growth across all lemmy instances since Monday? I’d really like to see it. Maybe even going back to the Reddit api announcement. It feels like theirs been a ton since Monday at least. I signed up a few weeks ago.
I’ve been using 1password since 2019 . It’s worked really well for me.
I’ve stopped using it to look for answers to things. I’ve found that I can find all answers to games, electronics and such elsewhere. I may have to do a minute more digging. I deleted all my comments and quit going when the blackout happened.
I’ve been using DEs for the last 6 years. I use a Feather blade in the shower with no mirror to fully shave and don’t cut myself. Not saying when I started I was that good. Feather blades are extremely sharp. I walked out pretty bloody once or twice when I started using them. Just get really good on some 7o’clocks or Gillette blades first.
