Got one that happened just now. Bought some frozen pickle chips from Costco. Cooking instructions for air fryer said 96°C for 7-10 minutes from frozen. Completely wrong. Had to do them at 195°C for 15 minutes for them to be even remotely edible.

Ah, gotcha, makes sense.
Not trying to be a dick, but how is it different? From your description of what you were missing it sounds like exactly the same thing.
I got an Honor magic V3 just a few months ago, looking back I wish I’d looked into honor a bit more, but I’m quite happy with it despite it skimming all my info.
I wouldn’t have upgraded but I gave my old backup phone(S9 Edge) to my best friend last year after his iPhone something or other bricked itself with an update 1 day after end of warranty.
If I hadn’t passed on my old backup I would have just kept on using the 20fe, loved it. Mine was 3.5 years old when I bought the V3, and the battery was definitely starting to go. Still good enough for an “Oh Shit I’ve Smashed My Phone” phone.
Pretty sure the 20fe is the last Samsung flagship with a microSD slot, they’ve completely done away with it except on the budget phone/tablet lines(A and J?)
Change is good, inescapable sure, but without change there would be nothing. We have a tendency to fixate on the shitty bits. A lot of my depression always circles are fixation on shitty stuff happening around me. I’m still depressed, but looking around and counting the things that are going right helps me bring into focus how minimal the shitty stuff is. At the end of the day, I have all my fingers and toes, my heart’s still ticking, and the fickle removed that is our daily circumstance can change in an instant.
What did you think of the 20FE? That was my last phone. I quite liked it in a lot of ways. My one point of major annoyance was the low volume of the ring tones. I know it can get louder because media being played on the speakers gets significantly louder, but I can’t make the ringtone be audible from my pocket on a busy street?
The true sign of a dull man is one-upmanship
They’re still perfectly functional. As long as you’re happy not having ray tracing, and are willing to settle for not running everything on max gfx, there’s no reason to buy a 50, 40 or 30 series. I’m able to play most new games that interest me on medium gfx with no issues.
At any age, with any amount of money or success, and with as many or few good people who love you in your life.
I’m still rocking my 1080ti and I paid $140 CAD when the 20 series dropped.
OMFG! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
Oh…you know 😏
Corporations aren’t people
Don’t they just slap a custom configured dosbox in the folder and point to it for launch? Could just strip out dosbox and have the thing.
Currently I still find it too much of a hastle to correctly run Winblows applications, almost always relying on Lutris, Steams proton or Bottles to do the work for me.
That’s…uhhh… that’s why they were made? So that your average Joe Schmoe, like myself and you, doesn’t have to muddle through trying to get wine set exactly right so that the windows program functions. It sounds like you’re complaining about the solution to the problem.
I guess there could be work done to just make it so if you double click on a .exe install file in just boots whatever has the best install preset, or give you a pop up with options for lutris/proton/bottles.
Good point
In the UK you’re limited to 32 pills of paracetamol(acetaminophen in NA) per purchase. Less if they’re high dose.
I just don’t get how it could have been so wrong. The oven instructions were 190°C for 18-25mins.
