I really need to check out The Apothecary Diaries. I keep hearing good things.

I’m so glad that I happened to see this show on Crunchyroll Friday night. Started it on a whim and season 2 just happened to be airing. Loving it so far, it’s got such a good vibe. I’ll probably pick up the novels soon.
According to that link, more countries use MDY in some capacity than I thought. Magenta, Red, Dark Blue, and Grey on the map are all listed as using it in the table below.
I remember in high school a friend waited until 10/10/10 to ask a girl out so he’d never forget their anniversary. I think they dated for like a month lol
I for one am shocked that this game was a disaster of a production. I don’t think anyone could have seen this coming to light.
Solid setup episode. I enjoyed the interactions with all the shopkeepers, and I’m enjoying all the details they’re throwing in, like the wood plank. But wow that kid in the train just felt like a talking plot device.
I’m starting to hit that same point, but Eminence in Shadow is a blast once you realize it’s parodying the isekai genre in the same way that Cabin in the Woods parodied horror movies.
The adaptation is fantastic btw. I’m reading the manga as well and the show has really elevated the story in my opinion. Parts in the manga that had me thinking, “huh, that’s a bit depressing” had me actually fighting back tears in the anime.
Well this was dark af. I went into this fairly blind so I didn’t know what to expect, but after that start I really hope the MC goes on a murder-fest. Seems like a lot of humans in this world deserve it.
Well this looks like it’s going to be a fun arc. Can’t wait for the next episode.
Super impressed with this first episode. I wasn’t expecting actual brand names and real racing series to be mentioned, let alone small details like tires being left in the sun. Can’t wait for the next episode.
Based on Kudo’s conversation at the end, I think the ritual was a separate thing. Miyo’s nightmares might still be due to her own powers awakening. Something’s definitely going on with her based on how the tree stump reacted to her touch.
Sure, but they’re the generic shooter. And it had a big resurgence during COVID with everyone and their mothers playing Warzone. I hadn’t touched CoD since MW3 in like 2012 and I put so many hours into the 2019 Modern Warfare game with Warzone.
Holy shit seriously!? This is one of my favorite manga. I really hope it gets a better adaptation than all of his other works. I’m also a bit worried that people will fall off of watching it early on since the first act can feel fairly generic at times, even though the second act is amazing.
The trailer has me feeling cautiously optimistic that the action will be better than Biscuit Hammer’s adaptation, but I’m still a bit worried. This author writes amazing manga but they’ve all gotten fairly poor anime adaptations. 3 cour is a good sign though, they probably won’t rush it.
Based on comments I saw before it aired, I came into this show expecting comfy vibes rather than drama. I had no idea it would be this good or that I would get this emotionally invested.
I’m guessing this next plot is to assassinate Miyo, but maybe she’ll awaken her powers and see it coming?
Considering this is over Los Angeles, a LOT of people got got lol
“Better” is pretty subjective when it comes to this stuff. I’ve tried Jerboa, Liftoff, Connect, and Sync. I like Sync the best by far.
But I’ve also seen comments saying this exact same thing except they like one of the others the best.
Thanks!
It’s called Crayon.
