Xbox is just a subscription rental business at this point, Microsoft doesn’t seem interested in gaming outside of that.

Considering he helped create Windows while working at Microsoft, and allegedly left due to the direction it was going, yes.

Fair. It’s nothing special, just a quick lazy print with some acrylic markers for the nacelles. I wanted to see how it would turn out, wasn’t going for display quality, but for a toy around the house I’m happy with how it turned out. Lego figure for scale. It’s a little smaller than the Ent D - maybe $3 of material?

Look, I code websites and apps and I know nothing about game dev. I dabble. But I don’t see any reason why an informed indie dev or studio would choose Unity over Godot at this point after what they tried to pull a few years ago.
Unreal is a different beast, but the versatility of Godot has been proven at this point and is on full display in this showcase, and from my uneducated standpoint seems to hold its own vs Unity’s offerings.

I’m still learning, but I don’t see it being more than 500g if you were to print it yourself. Keep in mind a 3D print is going to have about a 15% infill, where the Legos are solid plastic, so the Lego version will use more raw materials and be heavier by nature.
1kg of good quality PLA or PETG can be had on Amazon for about $13 on sale, definitely under $20. So, you’re using maybe $6-$10 USD of raw plastic?
Keep in mind you either need to sand and paint it, or use multiple colors to get something “good” looking, but for my Akira class I just printed it grey and used some acrylic paint markers to do some quick details. I’m lazy, so mine looks like crap up close, but from a distance it looks alright on my shelf, and it’s cheap enough that my 5 year old can grab it and play spaceship with no stress on my end.
(Edit: I looked at a few models that are roughly the same size as the Lego one. I’m seeing material estimates ranging from 550g to 1kg, so I wasn’t too far off)

I love Lego. I played with them often as a kid, and I love sharing the Lego games with my son, had season passes to legoland, and appreciate the humor they add into everything now of days. The accessories for the TNG crew are a perfect showcase of this.
With that said, yeah, the Lego Ent D is slightly less expensive than my multi-color 3D printer, and I’m more than happy with the Akira Class I printed a month ago. Maybe I’ll print the Enterprise D in the next few days to celebrate.

Pokémon Let’s Go [Eevee / Pikachu] can be played with a single joycon vertical in one hand. They designed it to be played with their Pokéball controller, accidentally making it super accessible.

And here I am still very happy with my $350 steam deck purchase and 2tb ssd upgrade. 🤷♂️

Okay, but can I promote Harry Kim?

”That guy” is the one banned. “The brother” is the King.

Yeah, don’t buy an HP. Love my Brother laser printer though.

I drive a Kia EV6, and love it. Kia pushes like 2 OTAs per year for updates and small bug fixes, but hasn’t rolled out any new features. They have a premium connectivity package, but nothing but remote bells and whistles are behind it.
I use my phone for the infotainment via CarPlay.
My phone acts like a phone, and my car acts like a car.
Now, the reason I have an EV6? I was a happy Chevy Bolt owner looking for a newer vehicle and was eyeing the Equinox EV. I noped out as soon as they announced the Google partnership and decided to remove CarPlay and BYOD as a feature.
The two things that will turn me off from a future purchase is lack of CarPlay, or paywalled “hardware” upgrades, like performance tweaks or locking out something installed like heated seats. Nope.

I can wait to play this on PC. I’m due for a dread replay though, perhaps after I complete Silksong.

There was a prime 3? After reading your post, I recall 1 and 2. 3 escapes me, although I must have completed it…

Now that’s one fit girl.

“Fingerprints.”
camera cuts to Dot and Prince
“No thanks.”

When was the last time you used Big Picture? I have a micro ITX build hooked up to my TV running Bazzite desktop, and have Big Picture loading at boot.
It’s a console. And it’s fantastic. It also lets me mod it so I can make it look like a Wii U if I wanted.

You got Jazz Jackrabbit to run on the steam deck? I tried to install everything GOG had available (including 2) and had no success with heroic. Teach me your ways.
I thought she was terrible out of context in the trailers.
In the show, we’re only two episodes in and she’s absolutely top tier Captain material.
