Definitely not it. BotW is a great game, but it’s not a Zelda game. That’s my beef with it and TotK.

automattable@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•23andMe Blames Users for Recent Data Breach as It's Hit With Dozens of LawsuitsEnglish9·1 year agoI get asked to prove I’m making a legit login attempt all the time because it’s from a new IP address. 23andMe could have implemented something similar, and given the sensitive nature of the data they host and given how we all know that people can’t be trusted to have good password hygiene, I think they should have been required to do so.
IMO this whole thing is just more proof that we need better regulation around how companies treat users’ private information.

I feel like no one actually needs/wants this adapter, but Apple couldn’t just not make one. So it’s probably priced that way because they don’t expect to sell many at all.
I always thought this was super on purpose. Is it not intentional design for “child protection?”
