It’s completely free is the big draw, but it’s not as popular still I ended up back on zwift
I have been struggling with this too. solution has been running it on my phone for now and looking into dedicated hardware. I’ve come across a few other options (MyWoosh) recently but nothing native to linux.
bananahammock@lemmy.cato Selfhosted@lemmy.world•what will be my next server operating system (Fedora Server, Fedora CoreOS, NixOS), your experience and opinionEnglish5·1 year agoI’m a NixOS convert too. I actually still run everything in docker but the idea of not having to remeber or document how I set everything up was too appealing…a year later and my desktop and laptop are now on nix too

Damn…I paid $1.99 in 2013.
Syncing support is a core feature of immich. The app is top notch from my experience with it.
Would highly reccomend https://immich.app/ too. It’s the solution I’ve finally landed on after trying out most of the options out there.

bananahammock@lemmy.cato Self Hosted - Self-hosting your services.@lemmy.ml•Do you guys use some management software for your server or just have a lot of docker containers?11·2 years agoDocker-compose and a terminal is how I do it. Its simple and effective. I’m able to manage ~20 services that way.

Self hosting is hard, but not out of the question.
