QOL? I don’t care about the clock font. Can you set individual internet access for apps on a pixel android? GOS has many other features that pixel android doesn’t.

Look and feelwise it is basically stock android but with extra privacy and security features added. You can go completely google free or install their services in a sanbox with no special privileges. What are you using right now? And what is your goal?

This happens to me too when I watch to many videos of the same kind. Restarting my router solves it.

Private phone with GrapheneOS and an iPad with banking apps etc. works well for me.

Just like their automated, unencrypted chat backup that stores all unencrypted data to your google account.

A year ago I would have suggested getting a Pixel phone and installing GrapheneOS, but it looks like Google is moving to kill off alternative OSes on Pixels, so not sure what’s the best bet at this point.

I think it’s still the best bet to get GrapheneOS, they said they will continue with their project. As long as it’s working I will most likely use that. With Google bashing against Alternative OS’es and companies relying on stuff like Play Integrity it might get harder to run things but I will use FOSS as often as possible. Most of my apps are from F-Droid anyway.

Keep in mind, Google knows what IP is streaming when using Newpipe. It works most of the time for me but sometimes they block your IP and sends an error that they think you are a bot.
