Thanks for calling those points out! You are 100% correct. I think I take it for granted that at this point, all of this “just works” on my setup :)

The audio should not be affected, as far as I’m aware. I get all my stuff from Usenet
Also check out Tdarr! I convert everything to HEVC using that. Shrinks down some files to literally 50% of their original size
Seems like the intro clears some things: https://gamevau.lt/docs/intro It looks like you install the server component on your NAS/server etc and store your game files/binaries/installers there. Then you can download client applications and download from that location to install on your gaming PC or whatever
I did exactly the same! I tried a few different dashboards, and Homepage was the perfect balance between customization and simplicity for me
Been using ninite when doing a fresh windows install for years now!
Oh you didn’t specify veganism. If you’re vegan and eat 1 grape a day, you’ll be good 👍
Just curious, why not a full VM accessed through Guacamole? On the other hand, I have never considered a browser based full desktop experience, so I’ll probably also play around with these suggestions 😂
I’ve been messing around with Linux VMs and have gotten kernel panic a lot lately. Always gives me a chuckle
I’m guessing it means that the tree is growing at OP’s post apocalyptic workplace. The only living thing for miles, I assume
As an American immigrant, I could never understand why Don’t Stop Believin was so popular here. I even dubbed it the unofficial US anthem. I heard it so much I grew to hate it. Seemed like every drunk white girl at a party loved busting it out. Granted I did immigrate directly into a US college, so my view may be a bit skewed lol. But then on the other other hand, I absolutely LOVE Journey’s Separate Ways. That song hits so hard
Wow I hadn’t even thought of custom dashboards for each user. I use Homepage for my internal dashboard, and Homarr for users. It’s got a nice, simple interface with big buttons
+1 for Outer Wilds!
Congrats! I’ve been using pi-alert for a couple months now and love it!
Grew up in South Africa (British English) and we always said “Dragonball Zee”
Absolutely would be happy to! Shoot me a DM with what you have and what you’re having trouble with, and I can try to help you out.
Just the cheapest model. I got on one of the sales for $60 I think it’s this one: https://a.co/d/aPrLhYG
“top level” just refers to that part of a website address. Think of it like a home address. “Road” or “Lane” etc would be the top level domain, then the road name would be the next level, and then the house number would specify exactly where on that particular road you want to go.
I just use Kindle for my Readarr/calibre/calibre-web stack.
Yeah still use mine! Best way to stream from my PC upstairs to my TV downstairs!
