I have personal and business needs (I’m an entrepreneur in the construction industry).
I am just starting out and trying to keep operational costs down. Proton has a free option and then some pay plans as well so it could work.
Some say they are carbon neutral with their servers which I also like since they all take electricity to run.
Thank you for your questions to my questions, probably there will be more questions
Cool thanks, I saw that one on the website link someone else posted

Good website, it shows sustainable choices and also integration to other apps
Thanks for your reply Durandal, this will definitely help is deciding.
I was setting up some other apps and my Apple ID is still stuck with my ancient Hotmail address so was looking to tidy up things.
I will continue my research, thanks
I just installed Brave on my Ubuntu OS on my laptop to replace Chrome. It is running better than chrome was so far. Is there a way to setup Brave to safeguard against some of things mentioned or should I go with something like DuckDuckGo instead?
I’m replying to my own post but I thought I would share a review that was very thorough and helpful. It compares Proton and Mailfence. I didn’t understand all the technical stuff but I understood enough.
