I just use *.loc.al as a local dns entry in my own server with local addresses using devicename.loc.al and loc.al itself going to my gateway/routerpage. 😅
Check out cVn! http://cryptovision.live Where you can watch user-sourced pre-listed synchronized youtube videos while earning some XNO (Nano) for it, or queue your own youtube video of choice to the list for some crypto-dust, all while chatting in a chatroom with the rest of the viewing community.

I liked the “Lost in Space” series, tbh… Exploring is key lost in space on alien planets.
Yet if I enter something like ‘resolv’ in Google I need to add ‘-resolve’ to not get hundreds of unrelated results… Same goes for any not-too-popular software that is named a slight misspelling of their purpose… I even find it ridiculous how often first results litterally say underneath they did not contain your query…
But with terabox and “content plaza” it gives 2 results?
Startpage I have no idea, but I’m guessing they, like many, use the Google API for webcrawler results… 1 result? Those are pretty common words,…
Torrents, modded apk’s,…
Check out my results for some chinese download service called “Content Plaza” for example:

Like, 2? On the ‘entire’ internet? 2? Right…
“I see a wooden sculpture of the state of California…”
Walks into wall
I suppose this is not the place to post memes about it right now… 😅
It’s been proven that humans didn’t actually get most of their fresh air from the rainforest, but actually from millions of these algea in the sea… Which is actually more logical, since trees do the opposite at night, kinda undoing any advantage they made during the day… Hence why it’s said you should never put a decorative small tree or even plants in the bedroom as they can take away oxygen levels in closed rooms at night. It’s even said not to sleep under trees outside at night cause it can cause respiratory problems.
Yeah, I urgently need a new one but I keep postponing and forgetting. 😅 It used to be a cheap fake leather one which looked cool, has a crocodile head on the outside in it, and just plainly looked cool. Now, 5 years later, all the leather, except for the crocodile head, has proven to be a thin layer that has come off over time and what remains is a completely exposed (again, except for the crocodile head) black rubbery underlayer. 😅 Oh, well, it cost me €5 or something, I guess 5 years was a good service at that price…
Got it a 7 years ago, haven’t lost the ejector since… Even amazes myself everytime I need it and it’s still there… 😅 Before this mine usually didn’t last a week.
I have a lifehack for this:
I acquired one already and I used .re, which is a French registrar available for any EU citizen and currently doesn’t even require verification (though might in the future, but I’m from the EU, so I can do that.) Not going to put the full url out here for display (for security reasons), but I can tell you it ends in …mo.re, which is very obviously part of the name, especially with what’s in front, so I think I got something in between that reaches both worlds: It’s an official country registrar (so won’t easily disappear), I am allowed to use it and it still is one word with the TLD… 🙂
It does use an altered version of the same song. 😅
Good bot
You should start in the year 2525. 😅
People tend to forget that governments are also just another company where you are its employee. It will make business-deals with other companies for (you guessed it) money…
I did come across this TLD already and at a minimum of $200/year (up to 350) it kinda disqualifies for the financially aware mediocre personal user. 😅
It would have had good options though…
I hadn’t considered the possible future discontinuation of the new commercial TLD’s actually… Thanks for bringing that up… Might influence my ‘taking a .com anyway’-side to take the lead… There’s something about .com’s that will always feel more legit…
lmao, I see your point, but I was there 25 years ago too, and however much I tried to stop it, time just went on progressing getting me to this moment that I want a new one and no time machine yet to go back. 😅 By ‘too late’ I meant ‘after having just bought another now’. 😜
Also, since the Fediverse is starting to boom, domain names for instances did become kind of cool again… 😅
I just love this meme-template… 😅
