They actually do care believe it or not. When our city council was voting on municipal fiber we showed up to petition our conservative city council representative to vote in favor. Guess who also attended, a representative from our federal senator’s office. Oh man the look on his face when only 3 members of the public showed up, two of them major supporters of municipal broadband, and the third spoke up to agree with us. Mmmm priceless. The city council man and conservative rep were so damn flustered. The senator’s rep took notes the whole time and we got to talk to him one on one. These outreach events do way more than you would think, this is how they gauge what they can get away with. Don’t let them discourage you, show up and bitch!
Yuru Camp! Just cute girls cooking and camping.
What! I applaud your effort in promoting Dungeon Menshi in literally every instance.
I really hated the ending too. I have just blocked out that memory and pretend it’s unfinished.
Part of the reason why I was soooo disappointed that So I’m a Spider, So What? Got such a poor adaptation. She starts out very low level and has to grind, so all of the power she gets feels earned.
The whole class gets reincarnated into other roles and there is tension between those who adapted to their new roles and society and those that don’t. I really enjoyed their interactions because it’s a constant plot point and their past lives drive a lot of their choices.
Tearmoon Empire let’s go!!!
Tragically high. There is a meme that Crunchy Roll will just toss your order in a box to ship. You’re lucky if they bother to toss a sheet of bubble wrap on too. RIP Rightstuf’s great packaging.
That’s sad, I really liked Rightstuf. Better make note of my preorders and see that everything transferred over.
It looks like it’s supposed to be smug girl supreme Nagatoro.

If you want to get into things but are unsure how to get started, I recommend checking out your local community college. Having a class is nice because it provides the starting point and goal so you don’t get overwhelmed with where to start. I find I really benefit from the schedule that taking classes enforces, otherwise I find myself really struggling to make progress when I do learning on my own. Also it comes with its own built in community that you can reach out to if you’re stuck. Classes tend to be really affordable so it’s a way to try things out casually.
Ok, now if you are looking for a movie that is all style and low on substance, may I suggest: Repo! The Genetic Opera.
It’s a very 2000’s rock opera with pretty good visuals. It’s got a really fun vibe and very goth aesthetics. There isn’t much depth but you will probably be signing along by the end of it. REEEEEEPO MAN! REEEEPO man!
Those late chapters are a freaking struggle man. It sounds like the author has chronic back issues and it makes it hard for him to draw, hence the essays. I would really like it if he just gave up on the art and focused on writing the story. I am sure he could easily find an amazing artist to collaborate with, and the overall quality would go up.
No, the craziest part is how staunchly anti safety regulation the company’s founder was. Per NPR:
The Titan, the small submersible operated by a Washington state-based company called OceanGate, gives tours primarily in international waters, which means the experimental vessel avoided most U.S. safety rules.
In a 2019 interview with Smithsonian magazine, OceanGate founder and CEO Stockton Rush — currently missing aboard the Titan — complained about government rules.
“There hasn’t been an injury in the commercial sub industry in over 35 years. It’s obscenely safe, because they have all these regulations,” Rush told the magazine. “But it also hasn’t innovated or grown — because they have all these regulations.”
Uhhh light novels are mostly text with maybe 5 illustrations in a 300pg book. Perhaps you’re thinking of manga?
