The people responsible for that one are rich, and they can do no wrong.
Next up, ULTRAVIRAL.
I keep forgetting how nasty they look… I’m glad I don’t have to see these on European roads. Not yet, at least.
From what I remember, the electrical outlet suggests you’re in Belgium, France, Poland, Slovakia or Czechia. I’ve no idea why I mention that. Just an observation.
I like to imagine the picture was taken perfectly level and that the house/apartment/room is tilting. More fun that way.
And an AI will regurgitate what humans have said on the topic before, and so we’ve come full circle.
I’ve been to western Oregon and yeah, I see what you mean. There’s quite a bit of variation to be found across the forests of Norway, but what you see here is pretty typical for south-eastern Norway, I’d say.
Ah, that’s right, Sint Maarten and that crazy runway, that’s definitely worth a visit.
A related but not very fun fact; “Sint” means angry, in Norwegian, and double A is how you write the letter Å (if you don’t have access to a keyboard with that letter) and Å is pronounced like the O in the Scandinavian name ‘Morten’, and so Sint Maarten sounds very much like “Angry Morten” to a norwegian, and a Dane.
Yet another reason to visit.
I’m that generation, too. Well, to be frank, I was 19 when Goldeneye hit the big screen, so I suppose I was already grown up? Although, considering how much I’ve changed, I guess not…
I just finished watching that show, and it is in part what made me decide it’s about time I explore the Caribbean.
I’ve been to southern Florida, and Key West, a couple of times and I suppose I’m looking for more of that feel/vibe.
Ooooh, nice! Thanks!
Thank you oh so much, this means a lot, it really does. Grenada just made it onto the list.
Thanks, everyone, for all the advice! I have to say, it’s pretty friggin’ cool to post a question like this and have so many people chime in :)
I’ll keep you in the loop on where I end up, and what I end up doing!
I once saw a tiger cub, at a zoo, get entangled in some branches. At first it was just a little annoyed, as it was trying to free itself. It was cute to watch and you’d be forgiven for wishing you could’ve given it a hand. When it couldn’t immediately get itself free it began sneering, released its claws and dug into those branches like a chainsaw, pieces of wood flying everywhere.
It was impressive to see how much power, and fury, that cute little thing was packing.
Probably a result of turning wrenches since I was first able, but that rule, to me, feels akin to “up the stairs take you up, down the stairs take you down”.
It was almost certainly taken off of an old film camera.
I would think so, almost all digital cameras take color photos. /s
It’s not really a lot of hoops to jump through, and this seems to be standard practice by DHL, UPS, FedEx and others, over here.
I actually appreciate getting the options on delivery day. E.g. I usually get to choose what collection point they leave the package at (so I can pick a spot I pass by going home from work or whatever), or if I want them to come back the next day, or have it dropped off at my office (not always an option, kinda seems to depend on how stressful a day the driver is having). I certainly prefer it to risk having the package stolen, then reporting, waiting for a new delivery…
Of course, if the package is large, heavy or otherwise unwieldy it might be a pain not having it delivered directly to the door, but if I’m expecting such a thing I try to be home to accept delivery.
Surprisingly, I’m not shocked at all. Heck, I’m not even surprised I’m not shocked.
