Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•If not Github, where would you host your projects?
9·1 month agoDon’t overcomplicate things just to fit in with strangers on the internet.
It’s genuinely a breath of fresh air when people choose pragmatism over conformity.

Games@lemmy.world•What was the worst game adapation of a movie you have ever played?English
2·2 months agoShit, that game was pretty bad too. It’s nice to have bending, but the entire tone was off and it’s clear they didn’t have people who cared working on it.

Games@lemmy.world•What was the worst game adapation of a movie you have ever played?English
4·2 months agoHonestly, I think I lucked out with movie licensed games. Spiderman, Star Wars, X-men origins wolverine, I’m struggling to think of a bad one that I’ve played outside of displays in stores.
Okay, I looked it up to make sure there was a movie for this and easily the worst one I’ve played is Bionicle. I literally beat it the night I got it and was so disappointed. If it wasn’t so short, it could’ve been pretty good.

3·2 months agoI’m saying you need to touch grass and let people voice their own opinion of a TV show.
This “shut up or agree with me” mentality is nuts.

53·2 months agoIt’s fine if people voice their opinions whether in agreement or disagreement.
From his perspective, you’re part of the problem because you’re advocating for resources to be spent on what you prefer over what he prefers.

48·2 months agoNah. The argument against that is god gave us free will, otherwise our decisions wouldn’t matter.
Us being fucked up isn’t god’s fault; it’s ours.

Linux@lemmy.ml•The Engineer Who Tried to Put Age Verification Into Linux
11·2 months agoIf I screwed someone over, I wouldn’t be surprised if they did something to screw me back. I don’t start it, but I damn well finish it. The moral of the story is to not screw people over. If he needs to learn that the hard way like so many others, so be it. They shouldn’t have to sit back while they get fucked.
You need to stop projecting your own lack of a spine onto everyone else.

1·2 months agoNo, he chose to do this and deserves all the vitriol coming his way.
If you don’t want people to retaliate for fucking them over, then don’t fuck them over. Simple concept.

3·2 months agoBattle Network is great, but honestly, I’d start with Megaman X or even the original series before Zero.
How about Megaman X4 😉

2·2 months agoHey, is there any chance you can start streaming on Peertube? With OBS’ virtual camera, you can just stream the straight gameplay footage and don’t need to add commentary or anything (unless you want to.)

The pirate setting is the only redeemable quality in an otherwise mediocre game from a series that died entries ago.

4·2 months agoInteresting. I recommend playing the first 2 if you want to see what the series was like before they fired the creator.
I know what you mean.
Bethesda games are kind of a one-time experience.
The only rule is mob rule.
